I topped at the fifth node, I have room for them to grow to 44'' the tallest is 12'' I'm hoping for females!! One is a skywalker OG kush clone so shes female for sure. Other three are random seed but they look to be starting to show sex. How much longer do you guys think I should veg these babies? I really wanted to have a harvest for 4/20 but if waiting an extra few weeks really helps my yield I can wait, its just a damn day. Oh and a little background for the grow. 1000 watt hps, general hydro flora series liquid nutes

Vegging for a few more weeks will increase your yield but I am guessing what you want to hear is:

Flower them NOW!

Have you considered doing any form of training?

I would try topping followed by a little LST to bush them out a little.

Do this over the next two weeks then switch to flower.

why don't you flip em in stages. then you can see how the longer veg time increases yield and by how much. it would be an interesting experiment.

Looking at your plants, this is a good idea. It would require a couple more weeks of veg but it would pay dividends. Top them, let them grow for a few days then tie down the two new main stems. Let the rest catch up and you can put a nice even bush into flower. Even just tying down the main stem to expose the side branches for a week would help.

Since you have a few plants, staggering them is also a good idea. Then you can have a harvest every couple weeks or so.

Keep them short and bushy. Fill out the grow area as much as you can. I personally would let them veg to 20"-24", when they hit that height put them to flower.

If you had 4-600w I'd say flower now. But with 1000w and no guarantee you have 4 ladies you should probably think about getting the most out of your harvest. Odds are at least one will be a dude, maybe two. Re-top each plant, veg 3-4 more weeks while developing bushy-bushes and flower from there. Looks like you at least have the room for three nice fat ladies that could really sing. Imo.

If u could do this then that would be awesome! I never flowered smaller plants so it would be great to compare the yields in stages!
Also did ur preflowers show before the flip? Thats if u flipped them already of course...
Great grow. Start a flower journal, id like to follow that strain.

If you have a 44 inch ceiling that is your limiting factor. Hold your hand under the light 44 inches above the floor and
see if the light feels warm on your hand. If so you are too close.

I want my plants to finish at 40-48 inches and I'm familiar with your strains. If you are certain about the 44 inch ceilingthen you need to put them to flower around 18-24 inches.
The kush won't double in height during flowering, it's a bushy phenotype, but the others will.

Note in most of your pix that the larger, outside leaves have just recently reached the outside rim of the pot. That means they have been slowly growing aboveground
while the main growing, the roots, reach the inside walls of the pot. Now that the roots have bottomed out you will see inch-a-day growth from all but the kush.

While vegging I have found my clones take 3-4 weeks to reach height while seedlings need 5-6 weeks vegging. Hope that helps. With your pots I would look to veg another week or 2.
Longer veg = more yield.

First off thank you all for your input!! I greatly appreciate it thank you for the swift responses I have been looking at them just didnt have time to reply. I started a grow journal if anyone would like to check it out. I've decided to veg till I get to 20''-24''. I have the 44'' inches to grow(probably more I'm just trying to keep them manageable. I have a thermometer 16 under the light it never reads past 90 and it reads about degrees to hot so I'm not worried about heat anymore, I was!!! Is it to late to top my 2 main shoots again? I'm thinking of cloning the two lowest branches on each plant, should I just lollipop? Thank you guys I really appreciate the input. I have a general idea of what I want in my grow, I really want a large yield, over 12 oz preferably, I'm open to ANYTHING to try, Ill probably try two different techniques to see if I can produce better results.

I really wish I could flip them in stages. I'm going to get a veg room setup with a 400 watt MH next grow and after that ill have a perpetual grow going and ill be able to experiment a little more with veg times.

I'd prefer the bigger yield, so I'd veg it for another 3 weeks or so.. and I'd also Super crop it now.
