California Dispensary city ban

The California Supreme Court has 90 days to rule on if dispensaries can be banned by cities.
If they vote that the cities can ban dispensaries, what would stop them from banning dispensaries from every city? As of right now, dispensaries are banned in all cities around me. Before I grew I would have to drive a long way.

What do you guess the outcome is going to be?

They def WILL ban them where I am at if this goes through. They have been trying to ban them for years in this town. I'm in Norcal too. Is it Mass or Mich that just banned all dispensaries???

Michigan I believe. Fuck em' if they dont want us to pay taxes on this shit then we'll just keep profiting. It's funny how they think a ban will slow anything down.

Yeah, a ban on dispensaries will remove the criminal element. Riiiiiiiight.

Logic seems to be a problem with some of these ban happy folk.

Look at prohibition for christ's sake. Crime went through the roof (organized crime in particular), then legalization came in and poof... gone. Those who do not know their history are doomed to repeat it.

Seems the only benefactors will be the oil companies, oh and the property owner that "thinks" his property is safe from devaluation.

The harder it is to get legally, the more chance that illegal transactions will take place. The Police, Prisons, and Big Pharma all lobby hard to keep MJ illegal with harsh punishments. They are all big business that throw a lot of weight and money around in politics. They do that because it's profitable for them and helps their job security.

The ramifications are much bigger than what the majority perceive if the ban does not go through. I personally hope it gets banned.

If the city ban goes through, every city is going to say no to dispensaries. I think people would freak out like they did when the dispensary ban took place before. It only got overturned because people freaked out so bad it made the news.

Weed prices dropped because dispensaries made it easy to get and also the number of growers went through the roof because people felt safe growing, flooding the market. I find it funny that good weed is still somewhat hard to find even at dispensaries!

I think most people don't spend the time and energy learning how to create truly connoisseur grade herb. I think lot of people are satisfied with mediocrity, with "good enough". It's sad, really.

So true.. A lot of the "new age" growers are too lazy as well. They all got into it thinking you can just put a plant in a pot, feed it water and they will have pounds and pounds of grade A dank lol. I have been doing this for 10 plus years and have seen a lot of new cats get into it and it's always the same. No work ethic in the grow room.
