Canndo, a Republican? I find that hard to swallow. He has been one of the most consistent and articulate defenders of small-s socialism on this board.and he also said "I also consider myself left-libertarian".
He is actually just another republican trying to call himself a libertarian.
Deprave actually. As republican as Lifegoesonbrah, Desert Dude, Dr Keynes and NLXSK1.Canndo, a Republican? I find that hard to swallow. He has been one of the most consistent and articulate defenders of small-s socialism on this board.
Of course, since the Republican Party has been mired in reinventing itself into more internally inconsistent new incarnations than the proverbial seven economists laid end to end, I can't assert that canndo is no Republican. This is meant not to tar canndo but the Party. Jmo. cn
Tell us more about your awesome philosophy that you don't understand.Deprave actually. As republican as Lifegoesonbrah, Desert Dude, Dr Keynes and NLXSK1.
Fixed it.Tell me more about my awesome philosophy that I don't understand.
Tell me more about how trading freely is socialism.Fixed it.
You're not a libertarian, or an anarchist, you're a republican.
Tell me more about how a market is free when there is a privileged class who owns everything being sold and all the customers are wage slaves.Tell me more about how trading freely is socialism.
The market isn't free.Tell me more about how a market is free when there is a privileged class who owns everything being sold and all the customers are wage slaves.
Tell me more about how a market is free when there is a privileged class who owns everything being sold and all the customers are wage slaves. The market isn't free.
Tell me more about how if you can't own anything then you are free.
You mad bro? scale 1-10Tell me more about how a market is free when there is a privileged class who owns everything being sold and all the customers are wage slaves.
I know the current market isn't free, but apparently you don't know much about your own philosophy, and yet you are asking about mine. There is nothing in libertarian socialism that says you can't trade, or even own personal property, there is just no ownership in means of production and vital finite natural resources. You would know that if you read A FUCKING BOOK BEFORE TRYING TO DEBATE ABOUT IT IDIOT REPUBLICAN!
I have read other philosophies including Marx, they just don't teach libertarian socialism in school because its retarded. Nor have I heard of it on the net until you. You have yet to explain how the economy functions in your vague society.I'm not here to educate you on political philosophy, I took the time to read about Voluntaryism and Anarcho-capitalism before criticizing it. Go back to your thread where you ridicule something you know NOTHING about.
ohh yea i am in fact a republican.Deprave actually. As republican as Lifegoesonbrah, Desert Dude, Dr Keynes and NLXSK1.
I didn't learn it in school either, nor on Faux Nooz. Come on, if you want to keep up, read a book, all you're doing is asking me to define it so you can look for a morsel to ridicule. I did my own homework to criticize your philosophy. I let you draw me into debate on your thread just like I drew you into debate on this one, but I didn't have to ask how Anarcho-capitalism or Voluntaryism work, I already read about them and know more about them than you.they don't teach libertarian socialism in school
Yes, you are in fact a supporter of the Grand Old Party.ohh yea i am in fact a republican.
as was thomas jefferson, george washinton, paul revere, john adams, john quincy adams, andy jackson, teddy roosevelt, and all the other men who believe our republic should remain a republic, rather than embracing the mob rule of democracy, or the autocratic rule of the monarchy.
whats your point? should i be ashamed of believing in the republic, and our constitution, and hide my beliefs away like you do? nope, im upfront about what i believe in, and it's no secret.
I Firmly Support Our Republic Of Sovereign States as laid out in the Constitution all the way up to around 1900, when we became a plutocracy ruled by demagogues and money men.
and from that truth i will never retreat.
and i never lied about who i was voting for.Yes, you are in fact a supporter of the Grand Old Party.
You haven't defined anything, you just blather on about a vague definition stating that it is "common ownership of the means of production and finite resouces". This is basically a political meme to make you sound smart. You can't expand on it at all because you have no idea how in the world it would work. Anytime someone asks you a question about it you call the words they use "not spoken in the anarchist society" blah blah blah. You are supposed to talk about political philosophies and defend them if its truely something you believe in. How is anybody going to ever know about Chomskys view if he himself just dodges questions with his ridiculous theories like 'people will want to work without compensation because people love to work'. I have looked into it, it is retarded, I am not going to go buy a Chomsky book because he is a ridiculous person. Good luck spreading your philosophy, LOL.I didn't learn it in school either, nor on Faux Nooz. Come on, if you want to keep up, read a book, all you're doing is asking me to define it so you can look for a morsel to ridicule. I did my own homework to criticize your philosophy. Aristocracy is the form of government advocated in Plato's Republic. This regime is ruled by a philosopher king, and thus is grounded on wisdom and reason. The aristocratic state, and the man whose nature corresponds to it, are the objects of Plato's analyses throughout much of The Republic's books, as opposed to the other four types of states/men, who are studied primarily in Book VIII.read Plato's Republic, he covered all your points 2400 years ago and crushed them all.
No, and I have said that I do not support this repeatedly.you just...stating that it is "common ownership..."
You don't support common ownership of the means of production and vital finite resources? No, and I have said that I do not support this repeatedly.
