Temperature is Ok? TEll me your POINT!!!

here are the pictures. U wont't be able to see the fan, because I couldn't fit it to unit so I burried it in to the chimney brest next to it and then I conected ducting from it to cupboard. I made it unaccesable but fuck it. If it goes I open that chimney again, but I doubt it. I just like my kitchen tidy.. About the smell. Well, I didn't get to flowering yet, but that filter looked man enough to handle the job. Input was 5 inches in diameter and filter itself was about 8 by 20 inches. And because it goes to chmney I am not worying about smell at al but it might be different case with you. But I think if you browse net, you can find all the info about the flow and how well it works which is what i did. Also I do have one more fan, just a small baby one (underneath microwave) blowing air in, but that one I don't use that often, because you can hear it and it drives me crazy. The one in chimney is much bigger but quiet. The small one I just turn on when I go to work just to make plants moving a bit to make them stronger. I would leave it on all the time if I knew it affects temperature but unfortunetly it doesn't.

I think in maybe buy one more 100mm fan...Because bro...Stil to up...
And I have talk with one guy if the lamps is to close to the plamts...is gonna burn and then the get yelow...He told me just put the hands close to the lamp and you gonna fell how is worm...is the same for the plant...

yeah, it's not chaep. to pay for fan and filter cost me more than bloody lamp. But, than one of my mates has been sniffed out by cops... I've used glass tube called cool tube and air is drawn straight over bulb. But fuckin thing was too long for my cupboard so I kinda broke off half. Just.. And regarding that fan again. I did the same thing as you. Cheap light first than cheap fan. Than I tossed away cheap light and bought more expensive one and at the end I had to buy proper fan. Should do that on beggining. See, if you dont have a space like me, or you. You have to keep air moving and eve the big fan, when you run ducting more than a few meters, or not in a straight run you can reduce flow quite rapidly. So if you can buy the biggest fucker you can accomodate and afford and your temp will be sorted. I should buy bigger one myself, but I allready spent enough and I am just on limit of temp and it seems to be ok regarding heat. Bloody nutes are doing my head now!

is that your ballast sitting next to the plants?

take that out of your chamber and that should help the temperature situation.

yes it is always best to have the ballast in a different room with separate airflow i actually drilled a hole in my ceiling and put it up in the addict. but my walls are sheet rock

I think it should be cool. 200 mm total is quite a lot. Do you want to put both of them on sucking out of cupboard? Because if you do and if you have people living around you you will need 2 filters. And those thinks are fucking expensive. So find out if 1 more fan and 2 filters is cheaper than 1 big fan and on big filter. I would do that and use the smaller one to blow in... But don't take me to seriously. That shit cost a fortune and I don't want you to blame me.... I spend a fucking lot a didn't harvest yet so keep a fingers crossed for me. Yeah and an advice I've learned. pH meter is as important like all fans an lights alltogether.

with those doors open. I've found out the same. To alow me to keep the doors close I've drilled those holes to bottom and back of cupboard. But, like 7x 50mm holes droped temp about 2C......

seven holes

you can keep doors open now but when you start flowering it will have to be in dark for 12 hors so it will need to be closed or dark somehow..

my cool tube sucks from inside out flowing the air around bulb, cooling it down and sucking smell out as well. You could bring the air to bulb from somewhere else as well, say from outside where its cooler and it would definetelly cool the bulb down even more...

I have today chance my Fan...i got one new with 125mm, for 185mCubic...

And i got now around 83F...
Sool i think that is ok yea!!! Because the max is around 85....

don'tpanic. Before you buy that cool tube, try to bring the end of ducting as close to light bulb as possible. Aluminium ducting is good for that. That should help. also make sure, that there is enough air going in if you sucking it out with that fan. I mean like those holes we were chatting about. You need circulation...

Yea i have note my fan 200mm PC, just put air in when the doors is open, when the are close the push the air out...
Today i think if i got one that fan like i have before...i put to take air fron the window in, is gonna help???
I gonna make soon holes tomorow...because i wait for the myra come first for i can make all this tomorow....
i think the air come in is not to much maybe this is my big problem....

Today i have put up one more 100mm fan to suck frash air in...
Is ok, now in the day i have around 84.6F, i know is litte hot but, is the max i can do...
I have got today the Myra too but i did have time to put up...tomorow i gonna put up and post the pictures...

cool. Good luck than and keep me informed. I am strugling badly at the moment. Read my post and you'll see. But your temp should be acceptable. i believe that you can even pick up strains which are bit more heat resistant than others. But anyway. All the best.
