fuck all the bs...make the minimum wage $100 an hour and make the economic collapse occur ahead of schedule and really have some fun dammit
you realize that people like you have been squawking about impending collapse for decades and centuries now, right?

it's all so chicken little, but always so avant garde.

I'm assuming you are in CA. I lived in LA in the late 80s early 90s and our POS apartment in hollywood which in Milwaukee where we moved from would of been maybe 350, was over 1,000. Now I couldn't imagine what prices are although I hear POS apartments around LA are about the same now as it was in 1990.

Where I am near WY it is 5.15 hour. CA is still 8 an hour so maybe you are in another country. lol
Hell I thought minimum wage was the same all over the country!I dont see how anyone can raise a family on a minimum wage job.....never mind trying to own a home which is what most people consider to be part of the american dream
My first gig paid a whopping $1.80 per/hr which was minimum wage back during the time of the dinosaures

we voted down more casinos this year, i am happy to report.
I voted No on the casino that somebody wanted to put at the old dog race track..I didn't like the fact that it wasn't an Indian casino..And the fact that we have enough casinos already...imo

What??? Only $100/hr. I can't feed a family of 12 with only a single income. It should be immedialted raised to something reasonable.
$109 for minium wage. Anything less cruel and unusual and against the 2nd A.

I can hardly wait for $90 a month healthcare, I am gonna go every month and have them try to fix every little nagging problem I have. Might as well get my moneys worth. In fact, I bet there are millions of people just like me who will cause this system to very quickly become a system of rationing.

A few years from now, sure it'll be $100 healthcare, but your chances of actually receiving help will be small.

Bet you don't NoDrama. Bet you are as reluctant to see the doctor as the vast majority of other people are, in fact I'll be that you don't even go when you think that maybe it would be a real good idea, like when you found that lump on your left testicle and rather than go and find out everything was ok you fretted over it for a month till it went away on its own.

The leaders of China
Love being the leaders of China.
They do not want to live in a country made of nuclear sand.
Keep that in mind next time you think the chinese will take over this country
they will and stay in China while their slaves here support their empire...see Egypt and the USA for past historical relevance

the only downside I can see to raising min wage is something my finance teacher brought up the other day. They raise min wage, do you think the employer is just going to take the hit and pay more and absorb the losses? No, they're going to increase prices in order to make up for the loss. That's still not even a big loss to us because a few cents here and there on your groceries or new tv really is not going to break the piggy bank.

Worried about 90 bucks...sheesh, I'm with flaming pie, stop paying for cable tv. Hell who needs tv (cable or otherwise, not the physical tv itself) anymore anyway, that's what the internet is for. News stations have their own websites and you can watch all your shows online now.

If you can't afford 90 bucks a month for health insurance, maybe you shouldnt be paying 120 bucks for cable tv.
hear hear little lady. People are too comfortable with the extras in life you do not need like tv, internet, your 12 bags of chips.

What if inflation hits 10% and the new worker who was making 9 bucks an hour suddenly is almost making 10 bucks an hour? Do you think the employees that have been there for over a year are going to say... no biggie, I am now dropped down close to minimum wage? Hell no!!! So, the remaining employees in the company will need to be compensated more also. Thus the cost of things goes up to pay for it and creates.... MORE INFLATION!!!! Which of course goes to raise the pay of the minimum wage workers the next year...

So, it directly hits the pocketbooks of those not making minimum wage and causes inflation to rise faster.

Those few cents suddenly become thousands of dollars.

It is a nightmare...
