Over the last week there has been a lot of hysteria over the court rulings. People are freaking out about MMJ business in general. Since the ruling i've gotten a few emails from a few different MMJ businesses that i thought i'd share, even though they aren't members on this forum i figured i'd let their voice be heard in this thread.

Greetings!
WE'VE HEARD A LOT OF CONCERNS FROM MEMBERS OVER THE RECENT RULING AGAINST DISPENSARIES. HAVE NO WORRIES, THERE IS A NEW HOUSE BILL BEING TAKEN BEFORE LEGISLATION VERY SOON, AND IT NEEDS ALL OF OUR SUPPORT!
HB 4271 DESCRIBES EVERYTHING THE MMA OF 2008 NEEDS IN ORDER TO LEGALLY ALLOW DISPENSARIES (SOON TO BE CALLED "PROVISIONARIES"), IT WILL ALSO ALLOW PATIENT TO PATIENT TRANSFERS, AND MUCH MORE! BE SURE FAMILIARIZE YOURSELVES WITH HB 4271. AGAIN, THIS IS BILL IS ONLY GOING FORWARD WITH THE SUPPORT FROM ALL ADVOCATES OF MI MMJ! AND IT HAS A GOOD CHANCE OF PASSING WITH THE MANY LEGISLATIVE MEMBERS ALREADY SHOWING MAJOR SUPPORT!!
LASTLY, NO MMJ BUSINESSES IN THE ANN ARBOR/YPSILANTI AREA WILL BE VOLUNTARILY CLOSING, SO KEEP EXERCISING YOUR RIGHT TO ACQUIRE YOUR MEDICINE!
IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO GIVE TO THE HB 4271 CAUSE, PLEASE CONTACT GREEN BEE AT (734) 516-4938 FOR DETAILS AND REALLY HELP MAKE THIS HAPPEN FOR ALL WHO DEPEND ON SAFE ACCESS!
*ALL MONETARY DONATIONS WILL GO DIRECTLY GO TO HB 4271 FUNDRAISING EFFORTS. GREEN BEE DOES NOT PERSONALLY ACCEPT ANY FUNDS RELATED TO THIS CAUSE.

Recent changes to the MMMA, coupled with 2 Supreme Court decisions, may have impacted operations of some compassion clubs, patient networks and farmers markets, specifically the model in which they operated. We are dedicated to assisting the residents of Michigan with an uninterrupted supply of medical marijuana, we are open as usual.

If anyone else has got emails from other MMJ business please share them here.Greetings my friends! So the great ruling has come and gone. As we enter another phase of the MMJ movement, we are faced with a collective, yet very isolating decision: What do we do now? Indeed this setback does not come as a surprise. The conservative make-up of the "supreme court" obviously is not acting in accordance with the rights and desire of the populous. This is intently discouraging and easily could send us all back into the closeted abyss. While each of us must determine our own paths, I am here to tell you we must not give up the fight! The changes for the good that have taken place in recent years can temporarily be suspended, but if history has shown us anything, out of every dark day comes a brighter one, and around and around we go. Iron Labs will continue to promote the safe and legal rights of all patients to access quality tested meds! We will not falter in our philosophical premise that the brunt of our work starts with the Patient/Caregiver relationship. Patients must insist their caregiver\'s meds are still tested. Caregivers, you have a huge responsibility to educate your patients and utilization of our resources is a great way to ensure that. When all this insanity is sorted out, we will come out stronger, more unified than ever, and ready to confront the next challenge which will inevitably come. We are here and more than ever, WE CARE!
Best regards,
Howard
