You hear a lot of people on here wanting to move to colorado or Washington just so they can grow weed. Why in the hell would you want to quit your job just to grow a few plants legally? What are the chances your going to get caught if you stay where your at with a few plants?
Someone please explain this to me..... Please

Stupid will always be around. If you are smart about it, you have a very slim chance of getting caught where you currently live.

I think everyone has in mind to be the next TGA or CaliConnection. But in their defense, Colorado and Washington are pretty cool places. I think it's just having a dream - grass (no pun intended) is always greener on the other side.

I am being transferred this year (late Spring or early Summer) to the Denver area. Not even looking forward to it. Traffic, pollution, morons every block, high as hell rents, lines at the grocery stores. I have lived all over CO, was a hot shot forest fire crew member (Larimer County Yellowjackets - Ft. Collins, CO) for 2 years there besides being in medicine for years there (Durango, Del Norte, Monte Vista, Ft Collins, Greeley, Aurora). Eastern CO is the only place I have not lived but sadly I've been there. I am having to leave AK to go there. Nobody hassles us here for shit. Never hear of a grow going down. I laugh at the dreamers and schemers. Those unfamiliar with boom towns and booms search "Dakota energy boom".

Which country you in fella?

I would call it the American dream in action - moving from where you are to somewhere else that is more suited to you being able to exploit available resources to your financial advantage. I don't subscribe to this myself - but it seems like only a stupid person would fail to perceive it in this way. :peace:

I will admit the only reason I would go is to do this legally. You can say be smart about it alll you want but you still can get caught. Most people would just rather participate in their passion than be persecuted for something they love.

Truth is people think there going to make a lot of money. That will never happen with 6 plants. Law says for
personal use. I think every state has people that use it personally but it's not legal... But do they care? NO

I can handle the persecution. It's the prosecution that sucks.

One last caveat - it will be the general stupidity associated with pot in the minds of those in CO who did not/do not want this that will bugger things. Let things get a little out of hand in their minds and watch the initiatives to repeal start up. And I said in their minds. Of course this means nothing to the descendants of long generations of oafs.

Seriously - I would consider most who want to run to CO to "live their dream" to be on the level of bmeat. To dream? That's one thing. To go plop down money and start moving is kind of silly. BTW - my first years of growing in the 60's could get you sentenced for life in Texas. A single joint was a life sentence possibility and the laws are out there on the web to prove it. Somehow I still managed to live that dream and kept on doing it all over the west. Well over 60 now and I can't help but laugh. I understand the impetuousness of youth but still have to laugh.
