brownies are all oil because of the high gluten and the starch, add some warm milk and an egg and that should off set the oil and you can add a stick of butter with a 1/2 oz of good cannabis and you will get a surprise...also dont forget the syrup
is this the recipe on theback of the box?? If so I know you cannot fuck with the recipes they wont turn out. so unless you make canna-oil you will have to make do with regular brownies

I tried using trim and buds harvested from bagseed plants, the amount of plant material I could get into the butter was not enough so that 1 or 2 cookies was enough, but maybe with a more potent herb, cured too I guess right? I don't think I cured either. Do you guys use buds, hash, bho ?
generally i get about a quarter of weed and grind it up and make canna oil with it or canna butter. i never use stems, trim or anything of that

That's exactly what it calls for except its just 1 egg and 1/4 cup of water
there is only one Betty Crocker cookie mix I use these days.. it's the oatmeal ones.. calls for 1/2 cup oil 1 egg 1 tblspn water.
I am not a fan of the brownies anymore.. they were fun in the 1st few months of experimenting..
I also found the oatmeal cookies are cheaper.. about 1.29- 1.59 here locally all the others using less oil (cept the brownies) are 1/3 cup or 1/4th cup oil
the other ones run from 2.29- 2.89

Just do what sunni said by melting the butter then adding to your mix, it should turn out fine.
it may not though because
1. baking is very temperamental and if you do something wrong it generally doesnt turn out right
2. those specific baking mixes, are designed exactly for that recipe and none other
It would be worth a try if it was just regular brownies but you could potentionally be ruining a bunch of weed haha

I bake a lot of goods and I usually go from scratch, but there was a time that I used the box stuff and I had to use the butter in place of the oil and I remember it turned out fine. The only thing is that I think I used in butter what it said to use in oil, so if it says a 1/4 cup oil use a 1/4 of butter. Also I remember doing this at sea level, so if your up high take that in account.

so is there a specific kind of butter or oil that works great? what about that coconut oil, grown in coco extracted with coco u know

I have never used any of the coconut oil, but I know people who do and they say it works great, they also infuse it with ear wax or really good bubble.

Also I use Challenge unsalted butter, which challenge is the brand of course. Also this butter is organically made and is more of a sweet cream butter.

ok so do you prefer oil or butter, does it just depend on recipe they both work the same? as far as functioning as a vehicle for medicine?
