They pushed mighty wash pretty hard at one of the grow shops i visit. What do you think of it?
I haven't used it myself, but I have some :) Last year when I had an infestation they didn't have everything locally so I bought online. And I didn't want to have to wait in case the first thing I tried didn't work. Well, I never had to use the Mighty Wash because the Azamax did the trick. Got a 5 gal jug of Mighty Wash I can give you a good deal on lol

I use a similar product to azamax called azatrol. Do you use azamax in the water/nutes you feed the plant through the soil?

No Azamax is sprayed on the plant. I have only had one infestation so my experience is not great. Hope to keep it that way lol
I also mixed up some Azamax and used it as a dip for clones for the next couple crops just to be sure.

You can use it in the soil too, just in veg is best. Guess it makes the plant taste like shit to the mites. I was thinking of doing this as a very easy preventive maintenance, but was hoping someone had tried it 1st. I've only used azatrol on the leaves just like you.

I don't think I'd use it that way myself but I think you're probably right about it. Azamax is a systemic insecticide; I didn't know that. I thought it was a contact insecticide.

azamax is great as a soil drench for gnats. I had a big problem with bags of soil from the hydro store riddled with gnat eggs. Nematodes are another great option. For mites you can jack your co2 levels way up, it will kill them. Not sure if you run co2, but if so that is an option

I feed my plants azamax 3 times in veg(never in flower, never spray anything-ever)-1 oz per 5 gallons/mix it right in with the nutes

You guys feel like it's really necessary to do that though? The only time I've ever seen any sign of a pest is that one time, and I know where that came from. Since I cleaned up after that it's been fine. I'm all for prevention but I don't think I'd put Azamax in my plants unless I had mites or was at high risk for them.

last dose is 1 week before I switch. I think thats a light dose, I haven't had mites in two years...I mostly use it for those darn gnats in the soil...

If I don't have to deal with mites I'm all about it. Beats the hell out of spraying that shit everywhere. And its easier. But I'll probably stop a few wks before 12/12. I use the "let it rain" water method mentioned by riddleme, so there's plenty of flush. I do see where you're coming from though, and only want my buds to taste like bud, not azatrol/azamax.

A spray of 1tsp neem oil, 1tbl of garlic juice and 2 drops of Dawn detergent t 1qt of water did the trick for me. Spray weekly for 3 weeks. I also bring the humidity up to 70-75% for 4hrs a day, mites don't like humidity.
