Seeds not sprouting

I planted some seeds in crappy soil about a week ago. 3 days ago, I moved them in to good soil. I noticed they all had taproots, but they were pretty small. In this soil, they still haven't sprouted. Is it probably that I killed all of them? The taproots aren't broken, and the soil's always wet.

patience... if you haven't killed them by moving them around, do you ph your water? some times it takes a while to sprout, how far down did you plant them? farther down means longer to sprout, you want to plant them about a quarter inch down, at least that is what i do, usually they sprout in 2-4 days... did you point the taproot down?

Taproot's facing generally down. Seeds are mostly under soil, shell somewhat visible on surface. I have litmus paper, how do I PH the soil?

you can get soil ph tests, and water ones, you want a ph between 6-7 for soil...too high and too low isn't good for plants. what kind of soil did you get?

u mean the white tail that u get from germinating... that has to be facing down?

just keep it moist and it should come up if yiour germing it in there then it needs warm moist dark temps in order to thrive

yes the white tail is the tap root.

plant the sprouting seeds with the taproot pointing downards into the soil.
Some strains are slow starters, so patience is the key...The one strain i have bred took hella time to break the surface of the soil and to get started with decent growth.
just make sure the soil is kept moist, NOT WET, put them somewhere warm and fingers X'd they'l poke their heads out in a day or two.
If you have some superthrive, add a drop to their water, and that'll help the seedlings if you've stressed them or if they are a lil unhealthy since you moved them.

Next time you water your plants, catch some of the excess 'run-off' water that comes out of each of the pots, dip the litmus paper, and compare it to a PH scale to detemine the PH of your soil + water Combo.
Adjust the PH as necessary.

sunight is not necessary until they poke their heads out of the soil and expose the cotyledon leaves.
just moist and warm for now, as soon as they look ike theyre gonna start showing, get them under your lights or in a position with good light
