First clone attempt, feedback

Those are some small clones lol nah but everything looks good what strain is it? What kind of lights are you using fluro's are the best for clones. Just wait 10-14 days and you will see roots just keep them humid and I like using seedling heating pads for the first couple of week well they root.
 
Holy shit did you clone a seedling? How long have they been in for currently man?

i got 2x35fls on em.
how are the roots gonna come out? ;o
and how often should i spray er?
 
Small clones can work just as well as large clones.


The key with clones is DONT FUCK THEM ABOUT TOO MUCH.


If you are constantly spraying them, checking them for roots etc then they will probably fail.

Cut them, spray them then leave them alone for 5 days.

Remember not to drown the medium or the clones will rot.

This is the most common failure of new cloners... they give them too much attention and they rot.
 
I get a kick how everyone calls a cutting a clone. Clones have roots, cuttings don't. It's funny seeing your cuttings under all that light, they don't have roots to uptake anything. some how people still think they need all that light.

Just pretend you didn't see this, your doing fine. Leave em be, don't drown them and they should be ok. I do recommend a heating pad for under the tray. Not a must but very good to have.

Ah I see your contribution to this thread was simply to bicker over the use of the term clone or cutting.

it was a little hot last night so i opened up a window.
i woke up thie morning to find the cuttlings dead :[
I guess they didn't like the temperature change.
Gotta try again LOL

This is right on! for sure... even though sometimes I like to: "Save Them"
 
I your next attempt try to take a bit bigger of a cutting. You'll find they do much better. I've also found out that all that light really not necessary. I put them under my teenage plants in my veg room where they get broken up light. I'm no pro but I've only lost like 6 out of probably 50 of them. Here's a picture of a clone I cut on the 19th of this month. This is my first attempt at planting a clone straight into soil; it only has a small tiny cube of rockwool to hold it straight up in the soil. The humidity dome was removed for this picture.IMG_0286.jpgLike I said I'm no pro cloner, but I never take a cutting that's less than five inches tall.

I am anyway.

With the ignorance of the new :0) I just put my Root Riot tray right under dual T-8s
on what I called my "clone table". It was amazing. I had about 30 AK-47 and 10 Somango
clones, and not one failed.

I started them too early, and so they did plenty of growing in the tray....in fact, by the
time that I was done, I was basically doing a hydroponic grow in a Root Riot tray.
