from what ive experienced, john innes made my hollands hope a reall strong lookin plant, but it got stolen probably by a tramp in the bush or some kids who saw me watering them or summit. Anyways, yeah i lke john innes and it provides alot of nutes for veg (if u use number 2 i think - the middle one for growing plants) and it prvides good drainage. If anyones doing a guerilla grow this summer id reecommend the john innes, i had 5 autos in the bush, all were in miracle grow and all got fungus gnats. Was my first guerilla grow and i thought they were just over/udnerwatered coz they were droopy. The hollands hope on the other hand survived, i think because the sand dried out the top 1cm of soil which makes it a bad looking place to deposit eggs by the female fungus gnat. So get john innes if growing outdootrs, its renowned for its good sand component
