They are from a topcola, and are not a flower part, but a mini-leaf from a top cola, which has been felt before, thats why there is some broken trich's.. but how far do YOU think is left, end how far would you leve it until start of flush ?

Thanks in advance, all help is appriciated. this aint a hard question, so im looking forward to hear all your pro's and con's :)

Happy growing, and a good karma to you :) looove

It's all a guess man, depending on the plant, you might only have a few more amber in 10 days, then again, you might have 20% amber by then.
I have the same question as Pros. though, how did you get such good close ups?
What did you use?

I will let the pros respond to when. Curious, what did you use to take the photos of the trichs?
This little 40$ usb microscope: P_20130221_162328[1].jpg

Got it down from the local "Aldi" supermarked.. (yeah, I know, right?)
It gives me x01/x60/x200 zoom, and stillcapture, og videofeed recordings.. :)

Completely up to you ma man. If you want a more up high harvest when most are cloudy, for body high go for 20% amber.

'And you would call this semicloudy right ? Fyi; i belive that the amber-colors which are visible are due to touching, and thereby breaking of thrich's, and not a sign of being matured!

That's kind of what I wondered at first, but I DO see some normal shaped trichs that are amber.

yeah, but, those could have been infected by touch like the others waf broken off. the raw thricomes are like a gel (know that since i'v sat and played with them with a needle..), until the are "dried", therefor, by touching, a little bacterie could have entered, and disrupted the trichhead.. Can you follow me on that mate ? :) just thinking out of the box here.. :)

Yeah, but the problem is, i'm going away from home for ten days from tuesday morning..i have a caretaker to monitor PH-, and EC-levels. But thats all the caretaker does. he cant investigate with microscope like me, and switch the system from nutes to flush.

THE BIG QUESTION WHICH THIS IS ALL ABOUT: I am aiming for twenty percent amber, want to flush for approximately ten days, and be home for harvest - Do i start flush on monday, or do i start the ten day flush when i return (in approx. 16 days) ?

Once again, THANKS PPL!

IMO 2 weeks start flushing now. you can see they are ripening but not fully ripened overall you should see an increase trich in these last 2 weeks i would think.

Nope. It is from THC degrading. If you do not touch your plants at all and check it, there will be amber at a certain point.

Cloudy is when THC is at its best so you are going for the highest possible concentration of cloudy trichs. That will end up being something near to 75% cloudy 15% amber 10% clear.
