The 8 ball kush is one I was thinking about. Trying to plan a future (gotta wait till my tent empties). Was wanting to run 2 stains. I got my snow white beans the other day, gonna give her a shot. Trying to find another. Also looking at god bud from BC and now I'm thinking about cataract kush, just not a huge fan of her taste but love her stone. Being a new grower there's tons I want to try just gotta pock one and try it I guess.
Oh .. you'll never tire of wanting to try new strains. lol. ... Snow white was a good choice. :leaf:

Maybe white rhino...lol.
I want a heavy indica. The kind where you feel like you're part of your mattress/couch. Its gotta do good in 2L hempy sog though. Choices choices...

HAHA and the list goes on and on and on...... I don't even want to think about my list. I have enough beans to last me a long time. My probem is killing off a perfectly good mother/strain to try another lol. Just don't have enough room/legally :(

Ever thought of grafting a few strains on a single mother?

To tell you the truth, never thought of doing that. Does it work well, or is it finicky? I would wonder if one plant was more nutrient tolerant than another. Would there be an issue with this or would the orig plant be the primary? Neat idea tho, have to read up on it.

I think itd be fun just to say I did it! I havent kept a mom in over 12 years

I would think that strains with similar growth/eating habits would do much better. You would certainly want a nice thick trunk on the momma. Ive never done it but it is so ething ive been pondering.

I got quite a few seeds aleady but those will be thrown in randomly. Nothing I really wanna grow long term. I got those before I decided on sog.

1500 ppm GH flora bloom and micro added a dash of grow as well day 12 so ill prob cut the grow out here in a few days since micro has a solid amountof N. Wanted to add some silica but that shit shoots my ph way up and at 1500 ppm with my water ph sits at just about 6. Ive been feeding them at around 6.4 or 5 last few feedings due to soil core on my perlite hempys and wanted to hit them with a lower ph and i dislike using ph down. Been feeding my soil capped hempys at about 6-700 ppm which leaves ph around 6.8 since there is a large amount of FFOF in them and guessing from plants health its still somewhat hot. All my plants aside from Gods gift seem to be very hungry and tolerant of high ppm which is why i hit em with 1500 so early in flower. They aint the picture of health but they are looking alright! securedownload-298.jpg

Oh by the way Moe...ive heard you mention pk 13/14 before and im interested. Im not one for gimmicky bud boosters and the like but you and a few others here who have solid grows going have mentioned its use. Mind clueing me in?

I'm by no means an expert but this is what I know -

Essentially its a bottle of acid. ... reminds me of pH down (possibly much the same thing).

PK13/14 is the NPK ratio .... 0/13/14. ... so its really strong stuff. Ive only experimented with it a bit, a couple of ml goes a long way.

As you can imagine from the NPK, its strictly a late flowering enhancer.

I was thinking and trying to find it but I believe PK 13/14 is pretty much like GH Koolbloom which is a 0-10-10 in a mix of humic acid.

sorry boss. I missed this one.

I can only speak from 2L. It all depends on the strain. I think a good run will yield 15g+ in SOG but I haven't checked in so long.
Thats pretty good, I was just planning on adding them under the light without a sog and see what happens. If I could get atleast 14g each per 1 gallon I would be happy! I have northern lights and aurora indica which are supposed to be nice yielders.

expect more than 14g from a gallon hempy. lol. .... unless growing a 'Dr.Grinspoon'.

goodluck.

edit:

tbh .. I suspect my GDP may yield less than avg. .. not sure.

I was thinking the same thing , should be closer to that oz. Depending on how much veg time you give them and if you do some training on them you might get more.

Moe have you ever done a "Dr, Grinspoon"? I think the only way I would do one is if I had a room by itself to grow out that one plant.

I absolutely don't worry about yield. Yield is something I may momentarily consider when choosing the strain, after that I just do the best job I can given what I have.

Its probably different when you have space because you can consider different methods, strains, veg time or bucket size ... for me, my height restrictions set what plants I can grow etc etc. I just pick the best short strains now and go with it.

I think 1oz+ should be easily achieved in a gallon bucket with 2 weeks veg ---- Im just guessing here, someone else will know.

No ... lifes too short.

Theres only a finite amount of growing seasons one can fit in a single lifetime, thats why I grow fast flowering 8 week Indicas. :-P

I have a friend growing one, it's 4 months old now and just beginning to bloom strong. He has the same attitude, life is to short to grow something this long...lol.
