I think I would get in trouble if I listed some of the things I know how to make with household items. (explosives and gunpowder)

If you mix 50% acetone to 50% ATF fluid you get a really good penetrating oil, better than store bought. I read about it on a hotrod forum and tried it out, I was very impressed with the results.
