If someone robs your crop, do they come back to check next year?

Not only are they going to come back, they will be doing an extensive search of the entire area in the hope of finding more weed. By next season, they will have had an entire year to think of ways to spend the money they will get from stealing your weed.

In fact, it is always a bad idea to re-use outdoor plots as old plots have an excellent chance of being discovered by hunters, hikers, and anybody else that might be wandering around in the fall/winter.

Bro, you ever hear Einstein' s quote "Insanity: Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results?" I think it applies very well to this situation. You better have a backup plan cuz it would be foolish to put in that much work when you are starting on that wrong of a foot.

Good luck

This question is nuts! I cant even believe your asking this!
That is precisely the reason why the question is being asked. Any crop robber with a brain would know that those plants will not be there again next year. And I'll make sure that they will have that impression when they return this summer. There will be no hints lying around that there's something growin'. I'll plan it down to the detail.

I'll prove you guys wrong. My gut feeling tells me. Watch for my journal late this year, I'll attempt something that hasn't been done before. I personally think that with enough effort, care and dedication this can be done. Never under-estimate the power of those with a strong drive for success.

I personally think that with enough firepower, surveillance and 10 ft. chain link fence topped by a triple apron of barbed wire this can be done. Never under-estimate the power of rippers with a strong drive for success and insatiable greed for easy money.
Fixed it for ya.

You don't get it ... if I put a new fence up, they WILL DEFINITELY know I am up to something. It would be obvious. Even my neighbours would know for sure. I am trying to be as less obvious as possible :) Like taking down a fence - thats a step in thew right direction

ok but you dont think having a $10,000 crop in the same area that they previously stole from would not be obvious either? Any ripper with a brain knows it would only take one day to check if its there again or not versus your months of prep, paranoia, etc.

Yeah I am expecting that. I fully expect someone to come back and check, and I'll have an early warning system of anyone approaching. I will pretend like I am not there and let them trespass to see that there's nothing there. Then before they go too far across my huge property I'll appear. Without sounding too suspicious. You see, I actually WANT them to come back and check things. I know they will.

It will probably cost at least $500,000 to put up the kind of fence you are talking about to replace the simple (hop-over) one that I have. Its a huge plot.

A buddy of mine has stumbled upon random people grows more the once. He would just be walking down a trail or walking path and out of no where he'd get a whiff of pot and then he just follows his nose. He is a grower himself (a very shitty one tho) so he only pinches nugs and colas off them.

if they tried to take the buds off as if they were trying to make it look like nothing happend or animal ate it... they most likely will be back next year.

if i was in las vegas id be betting on they will be coming back.... but at the end of the year this time possibly earlier as well (i wouldnt care grabbing a couple lbs of unripe bud..... make concentrates with what u cant sell)

I noticed they do come back around one of my plots was robbed a couple years ago i set a trail cam there for the next year sure enough they were back looking for it i moved that spot to somewhere else before this id rather be smart and move it then work hard for them to steal again

its also not smart to grow near a deer trail since hunters are always out looking for them so the further away the better i know some hunters that will find them and steal them i call them hackaways all they want to do is hack it dry it not grow so like before its always good to have trail cams one way i stopped them coming near was i would go into the woods with rifle and hunting licence and if i saw them i told em to take a fucking hike early on before hunting season so they don't come back looking for trails they usually will relocate to different areas away from everything

In Maine, a big thing to do is create platforms in trees, and do your outdoor grow way way up High
