Best option for a 3x2x8ft closet

Hi, so I have a 3x2 closet which is ceiling height. I have a 600w HPS not air cooled in there my ventilation keeps it under 80f I just want to know what people would think the best option ( grow style ) would be to get the best yield and how many plants. It will be from seed In soil.
I don't know if I should scrog but I have no height issues so don't know if this would be the right choice.
Any suggestions welcome

My 2X3 closet holds 6) 3GAL OR 2) 5GAL containers. I'm running four 3 gal soil plants in there right now with a 400W and no issues. I didn't do any special trimming. I just kept the light within 12" (cool tube) through the entire grow and the plants stretched very little. Ak47 & Pineapple Exp in there right now at 6 week flower. Toughest thing in a small closet is heat build up, looks like you have that under control.

What's your intake and exhaust sytem for ventilation? I mean what size extraction/exhaust fan are you using, not the make or model#, but the diameter of the fan, as well as the cfm/h?

Sounds like u have the dimensions of a good vertical Scrog room. Hang a BAre bulb(no reflector) with a fan underneath blowing up at bulb. Line 3 out of the 4 walls with a vertical screen of green. Do 3 plants in 5 gallon buckets. That's what I would do with any space less than 4x4

i use 400 watt hps ,i say 4 plant vertical grow ,why just 4 ,i would have me some big ole sativa in there perfect room for it.

As i see it you have two good options.
1. SOG as many plants as will fit. Trim them to be 1 cola and put them about 4" apart in one large bag pot that fits the 3x2 perfectly. This will give you a prettygood yield with or without much veg time.

or

2. This is what i do in my 2x2x6 tent (400w hps) I have a small veg area and i veg 2 plants at a time and flower 1 in the 2x2 tent. This allows me to have plants in veg for a good 16 weeks or so. Trained properly u can have one plant on a long veg fill the 3x2 easily. I do this instead of the SOG because i am only allowed 6 cannabis plants. I top and trim the one girl to have an even canopy of small colas, much like a SCROG, but i have no room for a screen. I yield about 8-9 oz off one plant on a 10-11 week cycle. With a 3x2 area and more watts i bet you can do a lb easy with just one plant as long as u can give it a good long veg.

4" 172 cfm running 25-50% on a variable speed controller
4x12 phresh carbon scrubber (36 mo old still working well in attic)
intake is passive through wall and stealth cabinet setup
Upgraded last year to led, better temps in the summer and cleaner setup
