To many leafs in bud

Hi , I'm on my second grow , and aving a few problems , 1st I'm vegging with 2 -125 cfl for 7 week then putting into flower , I've got a 600 and a 400 watt hps in there , I'm using canna a b in veg (leftovers) and sensi bloom a b ,big bud ,overdrive and b52 , my buds seem very leafy compared to my 1st grow which was vegged under hps , I don't fink it's the strain as I got it off a pal and is buds were nice n dence my just look shite , please help

Ones it dry there's not much bud at all , I'm at my wits end , they shud be at week 6 now but there so immature my pal thought they were wk 3-4 , thought it might be the canna nutes in veg or the cfl in veg can any1 help plz

Yea mate there under a 400 and a 600 hps , I veg em in diff room under 2 - 125watt cfl for about 7-9 wk , then put em into flower room for 9-10 wk they just don't seem to fill out

There's far too many leaves coming out if the buds , I no for deff there no light leakage and I no for deff my lights are set for 12/12 , don't fink it's the strain cos I got a few of a pal and I seem is buds there were nice n dence , my temps are 74 day n 60 night , got inlet fan at the bottom and extractor n carbon filter at the top , my humidity is 40-45 ,ph at 6.1

Do you have any pictures? It may just be that it's not going to pack weight on until the final 2 weeks or so.

a lot of that has to do with genetics. If the plants are looking healthy, i would look to genetic problems if they are too leafy and lack dense structure.

I will take sum pics later , my pal grew same strain just chopped it 2 wk ago is buds were dence ,he gave me cuttings and mine av turned out wi so many leaves n nt much bud , can't seam to find any info on to y this happens ? I've just popped 7 seeds but am worried that they will turn out shite like these

The plants look healthy enuff , ad a few nute probs early on but it's away now , my pal thought they were at wk 3 nt 6 guna av to go alot longer than the 9 wk

Using CFL's may add 1 or two weeks onto the flowering time, but that's if you use CFL's for the entire grow, or at least that what I've noticed from other peoples threads.

Perhaps try a different approach next time, maybe just do the whole cycle with HPS to see if it helps next time.

got the same shit going on with mine m8 only they are 16 days into flower and hardly any pistils showing, plus i got tall bloody things and i wanted short as i have height issues. ww x bb from female seeds. im just hoping theyre gonna improve over next 2 weeks or so or theyre going in the bin.

It's a nitemare mate , my pal guna bring me a bubalious over I'm guna put straight into flower n see wot she like might b my cfls av checked everything else running out if ideas now lol

Hi guys spoke with the guy at the g shop explained everything to Im and he says it's not enuff heat my temps are 70 ish he sed they nd to be up to 78d ish my veg room is at 20 and my flower room was 20 ish he sed they need alot more heat for budding , cheers to the guys who took time to try help .

What's yr temps pal I've to get mine up to 78 ish it's only just 70 with everything on need to get a thing I can plug fans extractors into to slow em dwn to let heat build up he said knock cple wks off feed n go bk hope this helps

First - Please tell me that your buds looked further along than this...
IMGP0645.jpg...because this bud has 10 or more days to go.

You do not have to have 78deg temp to flower, mine is in a cool basement producing very nice bud. I put it 12/12 in the begining of Jan, it will be finished early-mid March.
