I just measured the top cola on Big Hazey Lady and it's 18 inches tall :-o

Not entirely filled in yet, but all the clusters are touching and with the foxtail shapes that are developing I know that when the filling in starts that will be all one bud. It's week 6 12/12 and I guess she will be a 12 week+, so could be a crazy yielder - she also has multiple side branches with 5.5 inch tops. Amazing haze tree.

I did the LST on the other vegging girl - will upload pics when I've sorted them out. :peace:

Second LST girl - I tied down multiple new tops, also retied the original tie down and added a further one ahead of that on the same stem (see close up) just to keep her down . Seriously dark green this one, more Indica than the girl I LST'd last night.

Ha ha, no idea (most of the replies are me lol). Although it is one of the big strains of the year in my opinion, and I got some loyal support from someone being a good friend and looking after a sugar punch for a buddy, always good to compare and contrast. And thank you - I agree, was sort of the main reason for doing this thread/grow journal - such amazing plants and quality genetics.

I have looked at your grow, will have to check back and be polite by saying something in there this time. See you in a bit. :-)

Some environmental details from the flower tent (see picture). This is the higher end the temps get and the lower end for the humidity, the temps average mid 60's on and off (73 max for the last 3 weeks, 61.5 minimum), humidity between 25/40 lights on and 35/45 lights off. A little picture of Stinky Girls cola under the HPS too. :weed:

A few posts back, in your cool veg tent you appear to have fluoros hanging vertically above your girls. What bulbs are those and how do you like them?

They are these.

One blue, one red - I did have two blue in there, but dropped one and broke it. I alternate sides so both plants get equal amounts of each spectrum. Will probably invest in another blue one for the final 4 weeks of veg before I flower them.

I really like them. They are just so easy to use and versatile - in the past I have hung them in the flower tent to get light down low on taller plants like super lemon haze and killing fields, and to mix up the spectrum's in flowering. They are light enough that I feel confident hanging them from coat hangers (not that I'm always as careful as I should be, hence the broken blue one). They work very well too though as main veg lights for closets and such (as I have found and you can see). They don't get very hot even in hot environments. Happy to run two in that space only a couple of inches above the canopy with no extraction, just a tiny little 6inch fan to circulate air (plus I open it a few times a day).

I have also heard reliable reports from a fellow grower that they can be used to increase bud density with LED grows. (not that I would personally be content with anything other than HID for flowering).

Wow, the lST on the second girl has turned her properly stinky. Real musky dank smell coming from the veg area now. :-)

Will you run more of Sannie's gear next or again? Or is it the never ending (but very fun) search for something even better? I hope to get beans and run sugar punch or killing fields or chocolate rain.

I still have some Kolossus fem seeds, will run them at some point for sure (will be flowering one alongside the two big Sugar Punch girls I currently have vegging) . I'm also very interested in his Extrema which sounds delicious, and the Herijuana which sounds knock out. Sort of weighing up whether to try the Extrema next actually - I want some nice Chemdawg flavour for when GTA5 is released. Been looking the way of DNA genetics, but am sort of now thinking of maybe sticking with Sannie - the 'Mad Kush' (Bubba Kush X Mad Scientist) in his breeders choice fem section also sounds very interesting. Had experience with the mad scientist in his madshack strain, can only see some Bubba Kush doing good things to it.

These are decisions I need to make in the next couple of weeks. Thing is Sannies are nearly half the price of DNA/Reserva, and I've had nothing but success with his genetics, and nothing but hermies from my limited experience with Reserva. But then others I trust vouch for DNA. I think I might run three strains at the same time for a change - the 'Extrema', 'Mad Kush' and 'Cannalope Kush' from DNA genetics, that way I can get a decent comparison of the different genetics.

Update on 'Stinky girl' and 'Stinky's sister' - they both have brown hairs starting to appear, mainly on lower buds for stinky girl, main cola for stinky's sister. First noticed them yesterday (day 39 of 12/12). This says to me that they have somewhere around 3 weeks to go give or take. 6 weeks flower is on Saturday - so looks like 9/10 weeks is about right for these two. Tall hazey lady will go a fair while longer than that, probably 13 weeks for her.

I thought DNA and Reserva were the same company different label? Best plant I have ever grown ( in my limited experience) was a Sour Cream freebie I think from DNA

Yeah, they are. That's why I worded it like I did - "DNA/Reserva"; sorry for confusion. :-)

But yeah, I think of them as the same company. I have also been thinking about their (Reserva's) Kandy Kush - which I have tried and love. Hearing reports of dodgy 'no trich' phenos though which is putting me off (and the cannalope kush just sounds so nice, particularly the 70/30 sat/ind).

Wow---Sugerpunch One of my favorite strains from my favorite provider. Sannie is tops in my book. WHile others may have a bigger selection to choose from, Sannies gear is just straight fire. Here are a few shots from my last Sugerpunch grow. She can be a fooler and look finished before she really is. You have to watch the trichs but man, is she EVER worth waiting for. Definitely an all time favorite.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing dude. :-)

She looks very familiar. Just like my tall hazey lady. I have a 45x microscope and will be following your advise and checking the trichs. Not looking for amber, but want a nice percentage of cloudy before I pull her. How long did the plants in your pics go? Have you had any of the shorter phenos?

Naw man I only ran her that one time. I only had 2 seeds and one popped then fell over dead :) so this one was the only time I ever ran it. I think mine took close 12 weeks but I like to get around 20 % or so amber and it took forever to get there even though the rest of the plant looked dead. But you,ll love the SP, thats really a special strain and she just drips with crystal toward the end. I remember the final trim and when them scissors are all stuck together and shit you know its gonna be some dank ass stuff :)
Have fun with that one. I wish I had a few more beans of that.

Just spent some time with the flowering girls before lights off. There almost seems to be some colour appearing in tall hazey lady - sort of slight pink in the flowers. I think I will start to drop down the night time temps now the stretch is fully over, see if she will colour up properly. If she does, that smell, those looks, the yield potential, the probable strong trippy sativa high - it might just be love! :weed:

lol

The others are definitely starting to fatten/ripen, and foxtail out like crazy. These are gonna have super dense buds, they are big too. Stinky girl has more rounded buds with the skunkier/cheesier smell, stinky's sister's are more pointy and foxtaily with a sweeter smell. I had been raising Stinky girl up due to her shorter stature, dropped her down now, so the light is a couple of feet away from her top - my hope is that this speeds her ripening up somewhat. I will probably pull one somewhat early (not before week 9 though), as there is no pot round here right now except shitty hash, so I need her lol. Not in a hurry though, will see how they go. Looking for at least 50% cloudy trichs on the early pull. The rest will be left until cloudy trichs are 75%+, or amber begin to appear.
