Here is some help.
There are lots of reasons why you might want to flush during your grow, but it's system dependant.
What sort of hydro are you using?
As for the feeding schdule. It's hard to say, as it depends on your nutes and strains. Really your plants will tell you.
But ruth guide, is to increas slowly up untill week 4 of flowing, then start to drop.
If you are using a recerculating system, (A hydroponic system where the Same nutrait soloution is used for serval waterings) you can monitor the the changes in the streanth.
I will explain here.
Say you start with a EC of 1.0 and after 2 days it has decreased to 0.8 (Without you putting any freash water into the system) then that is telling you that you could increase you nute streath by an EC or 0.1. Okay there isn't much piont in throwing out your rez now, as it's only been 2 days, so just keep using it untill you need a freash batch, say 7 days later.
Your plants are bigger and growing even faster than they where last week so you need to make your next batch stronger, say you incase the streanth by EC0.2 and don't forget that it was a little week last week so you incrase it a bit more to say EC1.3.
IF the EC starts to move up, that is telling you that it is too strong for your plants and you need to deacrease the streangh. You can easly do this just by adding more plain water into your Rez.
If you pay close ettantion you will get it level, this is great as the plants are getting just the right amount of food. This will also keep your PH more stable.
I have found that the instructions on the bottles tend to be too give me to strong a mix. So I never use them. Your plants uptake is dependent on your growing situation. Plants under 1000W lights with CO2, will grow faster and use more nutes than plants under CFLS in your cuboard. Sativas like it weak Idicas like it stronge.
Keep it safe and aim low. there is very little increase in growth for adding more nutes, and it's a lot easyer to fix a diffency than it is to fix nute burn.
