I may not have a "serious" medical condition to you but for me it is debilitating and countless days have been spent curled in a ball in pain. Marijuana has been the only thing that has helped over the years and regardless if Maine law sees my condition as a qualifying condition or not doesn't mean anything, the government shall not tell me how to medicate myself.Getting a recommendation without actually having a qualifying condition is not legal.
Ballbuster lolGetting a recommendation without actually having a qualifying condition is not legal.
Or can petition the state to get his condition approved for use of mm.Getting a recommendation without actually having a qualifying condition is not legal.
I'm not belittling your condition. I'm being honest - you are the one who said that you want to stay legal. It's not legal to get a recommendation unless you have a qualifying condition. It's as plain as that.I may not have a "serious" medical condition to you but for me it is debilitating
Maine law only allows cannabis to recommended for a very short list of conditions. Changes have been proposed to allow recommending for any condition but they have not made it into law as yet.Or a condition his doctor considers MM will help.....which could be just about anything.
You are 100% correct. I apologize. In order to use mm for a non-listed condition you must petition the state.Maine law only allows cannabis to recommended for a very short list of conditions. good fuckin luck with that...hell it's taking them 8 weeks to get cards to caregivers......You are 100% correct. I apologize. In order to use mm for a non-listed condition you must petition the state.
Get a caregiver card and grow....nevermind, you have to be 21.I may not have a "serious" medical condition to you but for me it is debilitating and countless days have been spent curled in a ball in pain. The background on this is that DHHS is supposed to have published a process for petitioning to have new conditions added. In the two years since the amended law was passed they have not done this. Mark Dion has proposed a bill that would, as you said, let physicians recommend for any condition they feel would benefit from cannabis (which i believe is the wording from the referendum). In order to use mm for a non-listed condition you must petition the state.
As far as i know, there's only one person currently working in the mmj program right now. Not surprised that they have a 8-week delay.I was having a conversation with friends last night about how DHHS was so behind on everything to do with mmj.
How long have you been waiting? From what i've been hearing from the folks at CCM, the 8-week delay is for new apps. Caregiver reapps have been taking 3-4 weeks. I've also heard that going to Augusta and rattling some cages seems to get things moving. The best part is they told me I can't continue to grow till I get my cards.......lol I told her to call my cancer patients and tell em that......what a joke
Did ya get legal?I have to admit fellas - the reason for me taking an interest is I'm turning eighteen in ten days and this is my #1 thing on my to do list. I hate being underage, and thank the Good Lord I'll finally be considered an "adult." I just want to make sure that this won't be a problem with Phillips? As long as I'll be 18, have my primary care doc's name and my $250 I should be fine? I want to get legal and STAY legal guys!
