that's great news! (except for the 8-12 weeks she'll probably end up waiting for Health Canada to send her license out).... i would suggest in the meantime getting a copy of her doctor's rec and taking that to check out the disps and tell them that her license is pending (they probably still won't sell her anything until it shows up but a copy of a rec would make them that much more willing to talk to her about her options). i would love to be of more hands-on help, but i don't live right in vancouver anymore.

and the shoes are hypothetical, after years of wearing flats so i can chase my kid, my highheeling skills need *help*. :oops:
