MOUNT CARMEL A 5-year-old kindergartner who told classmates she was going to shoot them, and then herself, with her pink bubble gun, was grilled for three hours by Mount Carmel school officials without her mothers knowledge, then suspended, a family attorney said.
The girl was initially kicked out for 10 days in what the school categorized as a terroristic threat, according to the kindergartners mother and confirmed by the family attorney. That suspension was reduced to two days and labeled as a threat to harm others.

Two exotic dancers brawled over a $1 tip onstage at the Silk Exotic nightclub in Juneau, Wis. By the time the glitter had settled, police stripped both ladies of $250 for disorderly conduct, the Post Crescent reported.
According to the Post, a customer tried to give one stripper a single dollar, but the other stripper thought the money was intended for her.
The women reportedly exchanged punches and pulled each other's hair until customers and other performers separated them, according to FDLReporter.com. Police were summoned as well.
"I was surprised by this as we seldom receive calls for service from this business," Dodge County Sheriff Todd Nehls told the outlet.
The women, ages 19 and 23, did not require medical attention after the Jan. 17 incident, although one of them was pregnant at the time of the altercation, Chicagoist reported.
On its website, Silk Exotic bills itself as "the trendiest, sexiest, most exclusive, topless & full nude Gentlemen's Club reigning though (sic) the Midwest."
Public disputes over money at strip joints usually involve the clientele. In late 2012, for example, William Ilg ran up a $28,000 bill at Larry Flynt's Hustler Club strip club in New York City, then claimed in a lawsuit he was too drunk to manage his money. But a judge ordered him to pay up.

A burglar met his shocking end during a home invasion, The thief was found dead inside a house on Thursday, after falling down a flight of stairs.
The house was empty and under construction when a painter came to work Thursday morning. Once inside he found broken glass and signs of forced entry.
The painter immediately called the homeowner, who called 911.
Police arrived at the house shortly thereafter. There, at the foot of the basement stairs, police found the lifeless body of 52-year-old Robert Edward Powell.
Thieves often target empty houses because there are often high value appliances and copper. The house had no video recording equipment, but had a lot of copper. This seems to be the element Powell had been after as some of the copper was found in his back pocket.
The official cause of death has not been released, but investigators say there was no sign of anyone else inside the house and are quite confident that Powell just died from injuries sustained during his fall on the stairs.
"It's an unfortunate accident that occurred during the commission of a crime," police officer Tony Ivey, said.
Ivey said that while he was happy Powell's death was not the result of random violence, he still feels bad for the family of the victim.

An experienced surgeon of the city of Gavle in eastern Sweden, mistakenly removed the entire hip joint of a healthy 30-year-old woman and left it on the operating table during what was supposed to be a minor procedure to remove a small growth in the hip area.
"I've never heard of anything like this," Lars-Goran, who is the chief medical officer of the hospital Holtby, told a local newspaper.
The 30-year-old was having surgery to remove a small tumor near the hip and he was completely healthy, the paper wrote.
But instead of removing the growth, the surgeon allegedly removed the entire hip joint and laid it on the operating table before the error was discovered.

In Mississippi, if kindergarten students violate the dress code or act out in class, they can end up in the back of a police car.

The child was escorted out of the school by police so that he and his mother would be taught a lesson.

Of those, four have so far been identified as members of the band Kombo Kolombia, which was reported missing after playing a gig last week.
Twenty members of Kombo Kolombia were feared kidnapped when they disappeared after playing a gig on Thursday night.
Police said one of the band members managed to escape from the kidnappers.
He led officers to the well, where they found the bodies. Some of them were wearing the band's distinctive T-shirts.
Forensic experts said there might be more bodies in the well than the twelve they had recovered so far.
Relatives had reported the band's 12 musicians and eight crew missing on Friday because the men were not answering their mobile phones.
When the relatives travelled to the concert venue, they found it abandoned and the band's cars empty.
As drug violence is rife in the area, police worked on the assumption that the band had been kidnapped.

Special operations officers began searching for them, but it was not until Sunday that information provided by the band member who escaped led them to the well, about 30km (19 miles) away.

Authorities say two brothers accidentally blew up their house after celebrating a $75,000 winning lottery ticket by purchasing marijuana and meth.
Wichita police Sgt. Bruce Watts says one of the brothers was taken to a hospital and the other to jail after Friday’s explosion. The Wichita Eagle reports that the injured 27-year-old brother is in serious but stable condition with second-degree burns on his hands, arms and chest.
Watts says the explosion happened after one of the brothers went to the kitchen to refuel the butane torches they planned to use to light their bongs. The brother emptied a couple large cans of butane lighter fluid, leaking butane into the air.
Eventually, butane vapor reached the pilot light in the furnace, causing the blast.

A woman was attacked and killed by a lion while having sex with her boyfriend in South Africa.
According to My Zimbabwe, the woman, identified as Sharia Mawera, was in a secluded spot in the bush near the northern town of Kariba when the lion pounced.
It is believed her boyfriend managed to escape, fleeing when the lion lunged forward.
"Unfortunately the woman was mauled to death by the lion, but her boyfriend managed to escape naked," a source told the news website.
The source said the man was a fisherman and his girlfriend worked at the local market.
The man, who was suffering shock, told police he and his girlfriend were enjoying some romantic time when the lion came from behind and roared.
After the man escaped and raised the alarm, rangers began a hunt for the animal, which is believed responsible for the disappearance of a local man on the weekend.

Recently i have had the opportunity to give my 15-year-old her first driving lessons in my little truck with a manual transmission. I found this online today, and it melted my daddyheart. cn
