When Can Scraps from harvest be used?

So I have all kinds of airy buds and all the trimmings from manicuring 3 quart jars to be exact. Curing in jars just like the buds for now. When Is it good to use for turning into butter or oil?

Do I have to wait until it is dired out?

Can I cure it just like the buds to make it better before I use it for butter?

For butter does it have to be shredded or does it matter? If shredded then it would be best dried out, No?

When they're dried. For butter it's best IMO to grind them.

Dry it. Grind it. Fill a jar with it. Fill that jar with Everclear to about 1/2" from the top and seal. Shake daily. Maybe a few times a day. In 30 days strain with a screen. Take that soup and strain through a cheap coffee filter. Place in a bottle with a dropper. Tincture of Cannabis. A few drops under your tongue and wheeeeeee!
