This is the Golden Rule with MG MC Soil; NO NUTES UNTIL FLOWERING! I learned this the hard way and when I applied this to my grow, the plants responded well. When I hit the flowering stage, I slowly implement bloom nutes and blackstrap molasses. The buds on my 1 plant are so heavy right now, yesterday I had to stake the plant up. I'm using an advanced topping technique from Uncle Ben's Thread under, Advanced MJ Cultivation. This will be my best harvest so far.

I only veged my plant for 10 days before I put her in flower, She has been in flower for about 5 days I know not to give her any nutes until She needs it but the soil says it feeds up to 6 months (for some reason I thought it was only 3 I think I was looking at the gardening moisture control) anyway I'm thinking the the excess nutes in the soil specifically the nitrogen might delay flowering since I only veged for 10 days. My question is did you ever go 12/12 from seed or close to 12/12 with MG and received good results. My plant looks good just worried that flowering might get delayed and in that case I might as well put her in veg

I'm not asking anything from you, and don't want anything from you.
I'm not saying my plants are anywhere near the best here, knowing what other guys grow using MG.
And, as far as "getting on the bus w/ everybody else", I do what I want to do.
If it helps or hinders my plants, it is MY money, time and effort.
In my opinion, for the effort, time and cost involved, I came out with something that made me happy.
I am NOT trying to please anybody else.

Don't listen to the MG haters, it works or it would not be the #1 com bag soil you can buy.If you use Mg and are afraid of nute burn just cut the MG with a bag of cheap organic potting soil and perlite.Use this mix for seedlings and top half of your containers,straight MG for the bottom half or 2/3.Water with plain tap or r/o water.This should help a lot of MG users.peace

The nutes in MG are time released and are triggered when you water. This is my Theory and I'm pretty sure others would agree: Use a bigger pot and more soil so you don't have to water as much. My first time around, I used 3 gallon Smart Pots. Second and third time, I used 5 gallon Smart Pots. I noticed my watering would last just a little longer, which resulted in less nutrient release. The extra soil is also a benefit so the roots have more room to grow, giving the plant better health and longevity.

I don't think the extra nitrogen during the early stages of flowering matters. Your plant should double or triple in size during this stage, so plenty of nitrogen is needed during this phase. This grow, I vegged for 26 days with absolutely no problems after going to 12/12. I also veg with 18/6, and not like others who might go with a longer lighting schedule.

See, here you go ranting on and on, but still no facts from YOUR GROW!!!! Words don't mean a damn thing and you can tell us here on RIU that your plant reached the moon, with buds the size of Texas, but there isn't a picture to be found about your "HAPPY PLANTS!" So, go fucking find something else to do besides telling others how to grow something you've never grown.

Like I said earlier, my plant was not the "Best" by far, but for the money, time involved, and using MG soil, Perlite, AND nutes, under CFL's for my first CFL try........
I think I did enough to learn from it AND pay expenses.

How in any way is that a wild claim? you can grow with miracle grow the same way you can grow with any nutrient line as long as you know your NPK values and set up a feeding schedule that meets the needs of your plants.
But what would you know? You probably haven't grown one plant, shit, you're probably as bad or worse than bmeat. Or maybe you just have grown a plant and you're just too embarrassed to put up a picture of your deformed piece of shit. Oh, and don't bother putting up a picture from Google. We all know about the drag and drop method.
Before you pass judgement on other peoples crop and just repeat mainstream theories about mg, EDUCATE YOURSELF.
But then again, there's no point in trying to educate yourself, because there's no point in learning if you won't apply the knowledge that you gain.
