a) It hasn't doubled under Obama.

b) Don't you have some potatoes to tend to?
Debt in 2008: Approx 9 trillion
Debt in 2013: Approx 14-16 trillion, budget deficit 1+ trillion dollars.

Sorry, so he didn't (manage to) double it in his first term, by he's sure as fuck trying real hard to make it happen this time.

Bush turned a record surplus in to a record deficit, added more to the national debt than the previous 41 Presidents combined, started 2 retarded wars, and drove the economy in to the ditch ..... but it's Obama that's "fucking us".

Your doctor needs to revisit your dosages. You're right off your rocker man.
the clinton surplus was a fiction. a projection ten years away from reality. you have no idea how budgets work in washington.

Heres how Washington makes a 10-12 year budget:

years 1-2: more spending on all the bullshit the congress and the people crave, catering to every special interest group's demand for more pork, and establishing a modest ""baeline" increase going forward ad infinitum.

Years 3-4: modest growth in every program's budget following the pre-determined "Baseline" which is usually +3% to +4% increases in every department and program's budget every year.

Years 5-8: more modest growth along the baseline, but by this point the economy has presumably grown (based on year 1's projections, reality need not intrude) meaning that when compared the overall economy the program's budget as a % of GDP has FALLEN, resulting in "surpluses"

Years 9-12: mad surplus money is showering down on everyone, and the debt vanishes, everyboidy gets a tax cut and it's all because of the budget created created by the asshole who hasnt been in office in 8 years.

but since a new budget gets drafted along those EXACT SAME LINES pretty much every year, the reductions in the deficit never appear. every president gets to [pass out pork, and take credit for the benefits his spending provides, while simultaneousy claiming he will pay for it in 2 years or so with a spending freeze and eventual surpluses, but every fucking year he tears up the last budget and makes a whole new set of promises for short term gratification and long term responsibility as any 8 year old in a toy store who's allowance doesnt quite cover the costs of a new PSP.

BHO has, through his own failure, placed us in the unprecedented position of seeing what years 5-8 of the bush budget would actually look like. he can no more take credit for this, than he can claim credit for winning the spanish american war.

Snap what?

You said that Obama has doubled the national debt. He hasn't, and I corrected you on that.
He's still got 4 years genius, and the graph above shows he's probably going to exceed even that amount considering the 2011/2012 data is missing from that graph.

It also shows Democrat controlled congresses add more to the National Debt than Republican ones, another Democrat fiction debunked.

I'm also wondering when that fiction will wear off...

IMO that's the biggest knock on Obama; he had the stars align his first 2 years; democrat majority in the house, senate and presidency. Still, he could not get shit done.

Everyone in Europe and beyond said "Fucking finally!" in 2008...now its 2013 and we're wondering when he'll finally fuck off!

It's because the NWO are xenophobic. Obama's the wrong lizard race and they don't want his kind getting credit once they dominate.

I precisely did not vote for him the first term because he didn't have a preemptive plan. My candidacy is based on hope and change! More like, keep on hopin for change bitches! It was obvious he was setting up for failure.

I honestly hoped he wouldn't fail, I was hoping because he was the first black president that he'd be memorable for something other than the skin he's in.

When you're campaigning and you brag about how you shared your pb&j sandwich with a friend in kindergarten, it probably means you're not cut out for president.

I was under the impression that the ratio of debt to the GDP has been higher under Bush than Obama. Our Debt to GDP seems like it's more informative than outright spending. Taxes fluctuate with GDP in theory; why wouldn't spending?

I honestly don't view him like that at all. I simply view him as another failure, no more.

I'm really hoping he gets his shit together this term, but I'm assuming I'll keep saying "told ya so".
