F117's wouldn't stand a chance against an F22
The Apache is probably my favorite chopper, but again, no match with the F22. The JSF is probably the only thing that could give an F22 any sort of competition. SU37 is cool, but not stealth, highly maneuverable, but with the F22's capabilities, it renders maneuverability useless, the SU37 pilot would be targeted before he ever had a visual lock on the F22.
I'd say the Raptor is the best weapon when it comes to air superiority.
Beyond that, you have super carriers that hold 80+ combat ready aircraft, nuclear submarines that hold 15+ nuclear warheads.. These are both made up of thousands of men, but alone they're weapons that can cause mass destruction.
Then you have individual rifles, which have probably caused the most deaths over the years, so how do you really measure 'success' when it comes to weapons? Highest death toll, highest capability, most expensive.. what?
I'd measure it by superiority, when it comes to that, the F22 reigns supreme. You could have thousands of soldiers and it wouldn't matter if the enemy had a single F22. The only thing that would matter is the time it took to fight the battle, since it takes time to refuel and rearm the jet. Other than that, there is no other weapon on the planet capable of defeating an F22.
