well it looks like a fairly large pot, and the bigger the pot the longer to root before growth from what i understand

What the hell is the fucking matter with you? It's roots before shoots and I know you have heard that before. If not then the countdown starts now. First that container is far too big. Put those things in Solo cups. When the roots hit the sides of those Solos they take off going UP! Transplant then to a slightly larger container and so on.

No nutrients, easy on the water and use good medium. Get a CFL right smack on top of them. Like an inch away maybe but watch her when you do! Get air moving too and a lot of it.

Hey thatboys... Ive had plants stay like that for a while too before they shot up. But you can keep them in the large pots. I know a lot of people who put there seedlings inside their final 5-10 gallon pots from the beginning. Its more of a preference thing i think. There could be science behind it but idk... Im starting my new grow in Rapid Rooters, to soil in 1.5 Liter bottles with the tops cut off, then to their final 5 gallon pot.

I agree and have done it. It just takes far longer for it to happen what he wants to happen. I used to use 18 gallon tubs when I did soil indoors.

What I'm saying is I've used this pot several times to start seedlings....I do the same thing every time seedling to veg to flower...I'm familiar w how things should b in my grow..... this ones not acting right.

It looks like it's probably getting more water than it should and isn't getting the right amount of oxygen. You probably fully watered that pot without a fully grown plant in it to dry it
out in time, only a seedling.

It doesn't look too bad for 1 week though. This is the time where the roots are growing

Leaves should be flat, NOT puffy.

Lightly water and carefully transplant into a smaller pot when it's a little bigger
