Anyone have a lot of experience with super soil outdoors? I assume it will work just as good as it does indoors, Im in Cali veggin 10 babies outside in mid May.
Supersoil runs great outdoors. Here are two girls I ran in 7 gal smartpots and only fed non-filtered garden hose water.

Wow, straight hose water? Dank. Do the chloramines not affect the bennies in outdoor applications or something? I'm naively confused... and feel I've been missing something. Nice job, CAS.

For some reason the plants outside didn't care at all and didn't show any deficiencies or burns from chloramine (my indoor used to get burned when I used un-filtered). While I run filtered water indoors, it was a pain in the ass to run it outdoors and the plants for whatever reason didn't seem to care. I'm sure it would still be best to run properly filtered water for the "micro beasties."

That's interesting... I wonder why it doesn't affect it as much when outdoor. I smell an internet search in my future.

Regardless, your plants look mouthwatering. I'm interested in trying a side by side outdoors at some point... would be cool to see if there is any difference between the two types of water.

I'm sure it has something to do with potsize/rootmass/hardiness of outdoor plants. you take and indoor plant outdoors and it dies unless you "harden it off". the process of hardening off is just transforming your plant into a badass hehe :bigjoint:

Boogie Blue Water Filter | Boogie Brew will fit on your garden hose. It only costs about $50, and they give you a compost tea kit.

I actually use a garden hose filter (link) for my indoor water (run it off washing machine fittings). I'll probably get another this year for outdoors. I like the the kit I got because you can do different combos of filters depending on your needs. Right now I do two chlorine/chloramine/VOC filters.

This is my first time using SS. I was mainly a coco/drip system grower, so the thought of just adding water just didn't seem possible. This pic was takin on day 14 of flower. I used a TGA SS charge pack mixed with 7 bags of vermifire, 1 bag of Happy Frog and 2cf of Coco. Also added 60lbs of worm castings and 200g od Mycos. Ive just been using straight (Non-Ph'd) r/o water. Will add bud candy on day 21 and 35. Kinda speaks for itself. Great work Dioxide and thanks to NugBuckets and GeekMike fore the tips.IMG_0815.jpg

What size bulb does is used to get these results 600 or 1000
With the right conditions a good grower can get results from a 400... The amount of light is more relevant to the amount of space/number of plants based on size rather than the end product results... good results can had with the proper spectrum of cfl's.... Its absolutely better to be running as much light as you can use
...but you can get results from smaller lights, its easier to just use hid and the density/weight is gonna get better the more intense the light is...to an end but its expensive and tough to get to that end....

Hello weed nerds, first time trying super soil, i grew 2 plants in super soil alongside 6 other plants grown in coco.
Im using 2 600 watt hps lamps and most of the plants are in 20 litre air pots.
Plants were vegged for 8 weeks and are currently on day 56 of flower, the blue mystic will be finished in about 7 days time and the kalichakra
slightly longer. I will post more pics when plants are finished.
All the pics are blue mystic except for the last one. Thanks
