You know what you`re doing Dank,..Your plants have no health issues I can see,..Great green thumb !!
Thanks for the good information! Genetics interest me a lot, and I plan on doing more research on them after I finally get my feet on the ground here! It's my first grow, so I know I won't make an amazing yield, might as well produce some free feminized seeds out of it for future use! Clones aren't good for me currently as I'll be moving soon, but seeds are great! Definitely planning on sticking around, and thanks for the good information again dude! My first seedling's first real leaves are just starting to form, oh my goodness it's exciting!!!Thank you bro. Its good to have you here. Hope you stay to watch the rest of the show.
And if you do want to start breeding, and crossing strains, the best thing I could "ever" tell you to do is get the breeder bible/book & read the hell outta that thing!! For me, I have to read it 1st hand for myself so it'll sink in and I will understand it.
But if you do wanna start, take a "top notch" plant (female) and make sure she has really good qualities, such as tight nodes, good root structure, even branching, etc' just "good" qualities is what your looking for in plants you wanna cross, or make produce seeds. You can take the said plant with the good characteristic's, spray it with the CS (a single branch) till run off on the lower part of the plant, do this for a week or so, (until you see male parts) forming, collect the pollen, dust it on a single cola. Then you will have beans of that exact plant with the good characteristic's.
You really should try & locate a "breeders" book, or information on RIU about breeding before starting though bro. Because it does get alittle complex at times, say when your back crossing, and polinating a single branch insted of your entire crop. So you gotta know atleast the basics, and be really carefull doing this the first time or two. There's more to it, a lot more! But like said, you could learn a lot more & better from the breeder book bro..
Its good to have you here though..
Well thanks bro.. and I did an updatde on the Bluedream a few pics back, I believe it was this morning lol..Looking awesome bro !!!! wusup with da dream ?? Im about to update some pics on mine sometime today....they are reallying growing now !!! well compraed to last update haha but all yours look good as usual though nothing new haha
Well just the basic wiring bro. Black to black whit to white, green to ground. All I did was take lamp cords you can buy in the store or on net for like 2 to 3 $ and the sockets for like a 1$ or 2$, and that about it on the wiring. The bulbs nothing special, just with the during vegging I run a mixed of the warm & cool 2700k to 5600k and when I flower I switch to cool. With the added blue CFL'S, I run those during vegging, and "red" & orange during flowering.Did you have to do any wiring for your 120 and 300w cfls? Any particular brand fixture and lights you use?

I had 2 or 3 out of 6 herm. Was pretty disappointing. I can't think of a way I caused this probably just week genetics... On the bright side one of them turned out fem and she's a stunna! Gonna cross her with something next round. As legend goes og kush is a chemdawg 91 x lemon thai x pakistani kush, but mine looks nothing like my chemdawg so I was thinking about crossing her back with the chemdawg to see how much it brings out those traits.
Ninja didn't understand my first explanation of how it's unlikely to burn your plant if you leave drops on them. I was providing a more simplified example.?? Did I miss something?? I didn't understand what/who you where reply.. ?:
It's crazy how plants with similar strain lineage can be so different. And yea man, all this is just too interesting to me. Almost makes me switch my major from bio to botany, but I figure with my bio degree I still get a nice taste of botany (2 courses minimum)You know, I was looking into the family tree of the Peyote Purple I have going & they had breed "Chemdawg 91'" somewhere down the line with the Peyote Purple!! Pretty cool huh!?? I LOVE botany, and just anything to do with these plants really!!
Agreed, don't cross colors.. (unless the circuit is a 220/240 and you're running romex and it is -specifically labeled- that one of the whites would be a hot) If questions, please ask before you do wiring so you don't burn your house down. We have more than a few qualified to field electrical questions.Well just the basic wiring bro. Black to black whit to white, green to ground. No special brand or anything, just whatevers on sale really. Shoot!! We gotta pinch pennies all we can buying our growing equipment..
Oh i get it now, thats what i thought you ment. Ive done it and never seen real burnt spots either. I have lots of fan action and circulation thoughNinja didn't understand my first explanation of how it's unlikely to burn your plant if you leave drops on them. Plants are looking good, by the way.
Personally, I'd be prone to blame anything in the water for the burn. While straight water hasn't caused burning for me, some foliar sprays have.Oh i get it now, thats what i thought you ment. Ive done it and never seen real burnt spots either. I have lots of fan action and circulation though
Not trying to argue KP, but I am also leery of water spots, being a mechanic for a number of years, and having paint jobs that I was particular about, and also selling Meguiars and Mother's products for a few years, I have seen tests of how the newer waxes are formulated to 'sheen' water from a finish, rather than the old school 'bead up' theory of how to tell if your car was waxed good, and the reasoning behind the sheening action was that the rain drops could magnify the sun and create burn spots on clear coats on newer cars.Personally, I'd be prone to blame anything in the water for the burn. Yeah i got the replacement guarantee...but i checked tracking and yesterday it was processed or something in chicago so should be another few days to get here i imagine. N go check out my latest pics plz !!!Thanks bro.. means a lot.! You mean to tell me they still hadn't sent you your order??!! Hell your the one that told me about it, and I got mine a day or two ago bro!! What are they saying?? There a good bank bro. If it doesn't for some reason, they will replace it.
Flushed straight water through it today, first run off 3800 ppm, second run off 2700ppm, third run off 1800 ppm. Im happy
Not a good sign. Chicago is notorious for opening seed packages. They got my last one, but thankfully the second one came threw NY so no problems that time. Good luck you'll know as soon as you seen the envelope if its got green tape all over it. Just take a picture of it if it happens and email and they will fix it.Yeah i got the replacement guarantee...but i checked tracking and yesterday it was processed or something in chicago so should be another few days to get here i imagine.
