2700k vs 3000k fluorescent

I read that you get a better red spectrum using 2700k fluoro bulbs than 3000k bulbs. With that being said, I can't find 2700k t5 for sale ANYWHERE unless you're buying them by the case. Is there any truth to 3000k bulbs not being as good? Can anyone refute that? And if it is true do you know anywhere online (USA) where I could buy no more than like 2 54 watt 2700k HO T5s?

I don't want to steer you wrong,so you will have to decide yourself

but I do know,if you using just CFLs for growing
in veg have a 3 to 1 mix 5500-6500k(3) And one 2700-3000k(1)
in bloom 3 to 1 mix 2700-3000k(3) and one 5500-6500k(1)

thanks for the advice..after tons of googling I finally found a site to order 2700k so we're good money. I'm thinking I'm going to get 2 of them.

I'm a noob too technically! But I'm more of a nerd with it, so it's working out lol.
I would have given the same advice!

So just make your smoke into medibles, and you can add that to your percentage!
Seriously though, I just finished an indoor with CFL grow, and I vegged with 52w of 5000k and 46w of 2700k, and I was happy with it, so I don't think you'd notice the diff. between 2700 and 3000k.
