maybe top three of the best of the rest, might be competing wtih the marusia's'.. now there is no more hrt, i guess he might move up another 2 spots or so.. :D

i would love to see rosberg smoke hamilton this year..

shit, that thing hit the wall hard, went in for a new nose and came right back out and finished fourth.. can you say reliable?? one thing that the new mb surely isn't..

i do recall seeing both of the silver cars pulled off the track in fp2, a sight i'm sure i'll see much more this season.. :D:D:D:D oh yeah, they didn't even hit the wall or anything, just pos, lol..
 
O I see, q2 and 3 postponed... Don't think NBC will change its schedule, so I will see it tonight at 2am lol... The life of an F1 junkie

lmao, jesu, we couldn't be any different in whom we like, too funny.. i don't think he's anything to write home about.. if it wasn't for the money his personal sponsorship bring's, he'd be no where, especially with mclaren losing vodafone next year as i'm pretty sure his sponsor is like telefonica or some big mexican phone co, w/e their name is again..

i have to say i'm a bit shocked at the lack of pace from the mclaren's so far this year though..

yeah, q2 and 3 got rained out, then it started to get too dark to really continue, so it's going on today at 11 am aussie time, w/e that is our time..
i'm hoping nbc will show it.. i have been pretty impressed so far with their coverage.. shit, speed never showed fp1 hardly ever, so that was a nice shocker to see it on nbc.. not sure if it was only for this race, or if it's going to be a common thing for them..
 
Lol that's racing for you... I am continually disappointed at how much sponsor money influences who drives, seems like it plays a bigger role each year.. You're right though, we wouldn't even know Perezs name if he didnt have Telefonica aboard.

yeah, it's kind of disgusting that even in f1 it can be a pay to play sport.. i'd like to think that at that level of motorsport, things like that shouldn't come into play, but well, i guess reality is different.
even heiki kovelinien got the boot this year to bring in a pay driver for the team..

man, they said last night, only four teams have kept the same drivers for this year, and 5 new rookies as well.. i always hate the first few races of the year trying to keep straight the new paint schemes and drivers and all.. ffs, both hamilton and rosberg have yellow helmets to make things even more confusing..

not sure if you've been watching nbc or just streaming it, but on nbc, they've been having these commercials for this mclaren model kit that is 1/8th scale..
once a month they send you a new bit of kit for the model along with the instruction manual for the car for the month.. i wanna look it up online and see how much the kit goes for, but i'm guessing it's going to easily be a few grand for it..

i dig f1 model kits, just bought a bunch of paint for my 1/8th tyrell kit yesterday.. :D

man, that thing is nice anc. i'm usually not a fan of when people fit in a non vw motor into a vdub, especially older beatles, but i'll take a porsche motor in one anyday, lol..

that looks like my old bug though, just the year and stuff obviously..
 
And speaking of pay to play... Marussia? What a joke. Have you seen their production cars? Ugh. It's like a 7yr old directs the company. And don't think I didn't see that Hamilton jab... Nobody should be compared to Marussia. That's low man, low lol.
Also, Max Chilton had a promising career before he sold his soul to drive for Marussia. Poor kids gonna regret that move...

There is a whole website for that car, shows the construction etc... engine is nearly midmounted
