Hi everyone. Im a new grower, this is my first grow & first blog. Any help and guidence is welcome :)

Lets start of with telling you that im growing 1x Super skunk thats about 4 weeks old & 5 days into flower :) Ive just planted 2 more Super skunk, just waiting for them to surface :) Happy days.
Also i am using 4 CFL Bulbs, 3 Red, 1 Blue. Ive read that the plant will stretch for the blue spectrum for a week or so after changing the light cycle? Should i swap 1 Red bulb for a Blue? Just for the week or should i just leave it be?

My 4 week old has been topped today, im not to sure if i should hav topped it so early into flowering as the light change may still b causing stress. Im quite limited for space :/ Whats peoples opinions on topping after changing to 12/12?

I was thinking of introducing the SCROG method in a few days when the shops open :) Does any1 know if its worth it as ive already started my 12/12 cycle?

Heres a couple of pictures..

Cant wait to hear from some fellow growers :) Saafe

If your limited on space and you say the blue spectrum stretches i wouldn't add another blue bulb.
During flowering MJ loves the red spectrum.
A light change isnt going to shock it too much when using CFLs
If you go from CFL to HPS then yeah it would shock the plant so dont worry about that.
Next time though I would top 1 week BEFORE entering the flowering stage.
That way she has time to recover, by topping after veg you probably just extended her flowering period by a week and might possibly affect the quality of the overall product.
Just my opinion though.

As for the pistils showing, if those pistils showed during veg then you have about an 80% chance of it being female.
It is not male for sure but it still has the power to turn hermie.

Since your only working with 1-3 plants and under they are under CFLs I wouldn't worry about scrogging anything.
Just put some stakes if possible with some garden tape and brace the branches either to the stakes or even sticking the tape to the lighting.

If you want to scrog though go for it, im sure it won't hurt

Cool, thank you for the advice :)

I somtimes turn a 400w Halogen light just to heat the room up :) That souldnt harm the plant should it?

Ive only planned to grow 1 plant under the 4 CFLs because people have said you need a lot of bulbs when using CFLs. Thats why i was going to use SCROG just for a better yeild :)

I transplanted today :) I found a more suitable pot but my situation is: I realised i have been watering it too much! That hasnt effected the plant soo far :) From transplanting it i snapped off quite a few roots :( I know this will stunt any growth for a while, is there any signs i should look out for if somthing else is going to happen?
