chef ... u know u just gotta ask bro, aint no thang glad ur back on now
bubba - on the LEDs, just expect finish times to take @2wks longer than advertised for whatever strain(s) you are working. use a 30x loop to check trichomes for finishing. I ran a panel last year and strains that I'm very familiar with working under HIDs consistantly would take 2-3wks longer to finish under the LED panel. yields and quality were top notch, on par with an HID using similar amperage (400HID=3amps, my 600w LED panel=3amps). I wouldn't hesitate to use it again when the weather warms up and forces me to change my setup to drop the thermals
*edit: just read db's experience with his LED panel. my own experience (with a stealthgrow sg602) in flowering all of last year under it with several strains I have experience with under 1000w HIDs = as stated above, flowering times took @2-3wks longer to finish; buds were tight and thick and on par with an HID of similar amperage, same with finish weight and quality. personally, I wouldn't hesitate to use it again when I need it. but I prefer the weight and faster finish of the HID (when temps allow). ideally, I'd mix the LED panel with an HID for best results (not enough room in my small space, nor the thermal allowance)
