Hey yall, this is my third time around growing. Every time I have tried with CFLs, all times produced good bud, but slightly airy....Ive also never waited until the fully mature time to harvest. but not this time!!!!

About 11,000 lumens total

FFOF soil

Not fed until flowering, started tigerbloom feeding at 1/4 reccomended strength and also foliar tigerbloom at 1/4 str

These were vegged for about 6 and a half weeks, and are on their 5th day of 12/12....can see what I think are Calyx's developing (I HOPE!)

This oneis starting to show a def of somekind...there is a slight leaf necrosis I think due to a magnesium or potasium deficiency.....

fist thing that springs to mind, is pot`s cant you afford a few square plastic pots in black, at least sumthing that is deeper then wide and is light proof

how close to the plants do you keep the CFLs ? penetration of fluorescent light is`t the best, need to be close to provide strong light (I keep my T5HO 49W tubes at 2-4 inch`s)

Yes, twy were started in those pots when I was in a space a though not too high. I then built a different box that they would have been better in pots for. I keep the CFLs no more than 2 inches away at all times. I also move them around every day.

As for a hood, I've tried soda cans but idek what else there is that will do good o top of those

I just finished my first T5 and CFL grow and I got nice tight dense buds off all the ones that got good light. If you buds are not dense they you most likely need to have the lights closer. With any type of floros you need to have them as close to the pants as possible without burning them. I like the bonsai training lol.

Its been about a week, was having some trouble with curling leaves, took out the two hottest bulbs and still running around 10,000 lumens, temps are stabalized at 66-77

I am feeding every other watering tiger bloom with molasses, and on the off days just water with molasses

its been 24 days since switch and I think I should start using a micro nutrient.. whatdya think?

TOOK MANY PICS TO SHOW DIFFERENT LIGHTING

I think your over feeding her nitrogen for sure. Have you ever flushed? I would suggest to flush it as soon as you can. 3gal water per 1gal soil. After the flush let the soil dry out good then feed her without the molasses for a few feeds. Other than that the plant looks good. Its just real easy to over feed. with all the feeding and if you havnt flushed you definitely have salt build up. Only feed every other water. gl man :)

It is not a heat issue- it is the pH and nutrients... you didn't "cut" the Ocean Forest soil with pearlite or anything inert- so they are overfed.. and possibly over-watered if there isn't sufficient drainage. Check the pH of the runoff- and be sure to adjust the pH of your water to adjust it to between 6.5 and 7....
And you only feed once they are actively blooming- and feed only at about 1/2 rate to start.. ALWAYS flush between veg & flower... and only feed 1x a week...

You need a LOT of CFL's to grow-- but it IS do-able. We have 3 plants under CFL's now (we ran out of space under the HPS) and these are as healthy as their sisters! We built a hood from aluminum sheeting and added a 6-bulb vanity fixture with a splitter in each socket-- so it holds 12 100w Daylight CFL's....

We've grown with this hood for YEARS when needed... and you CAN produce decent buds-- but you need a LOT of light per plant.
