We're conditioned to accept ridiculous taxation, but if they try rape your savings (in other words, finger the people who are actually earning) there'd be riots and our police force is largely unarmed.

I'll agree that people are conditioned. The problem is many think the answer is getting "the right people" in government and all will be solved. Few analyze the problem as being systemic, meaning replacing the players won't solve things, the system itself is the problem. Did it ever occur to people that systems that are rigged from the start will never work?

On another note, you seem like a smart guy, but a bit of a needler, guess I'd buy you a beer...
