Tincture???????

I am trying my hand at making some jolly rancher candies, but my first step is to make some tincture. I put exactly one ounce of fire and one pint of everclear in a quart jar. My question is how long will it take with everclear since it is such a high grade alcohol.

15 - 30 minutes.

Dried weed, stored in freezer. Everclear, stored in freezer.

Grind weed like you're going to roll it, put it in an air-tight container. Add everclear till the weed is just covered, shake for a minute, put mixture in freezer for 5 or 10 minutes...shake again, back in freezer for another 5 - 10 min, shake a 3rd time (4 or 5 times if you want). Filter and reduce mixture to preference.


If you leave the weed in the everclear too long then you start to disolve undesireable things like chlorophyll.

Grandgro....I knew there was a reason I quit coming to RIU and it was because of smartass kids like you. Hell you cant even ask a simple question with somebody being a wiseass. If you dont know the answer to someones question then the polite thing to do is to say (you dont know), but like I said there is always one of you somewhere.

Thanks. All the info I have been reading is to leave and shake up everyday for a week or so, but that is with vodka and rum. Some say with ever clear as well but it would seem logical since a higher grade would disolve faster.
