Expect Yield

I have 2 4x4 grow tents. I plan on doing a perpetual grow. Vegging 4 in 1 tent to a height of 2.5 feet. Then I will harvest 4, start flowing 4, and will root 4, so that I will have 4 plants vegging and 8 flowing at all times.

I know that this will depend on many other factors, but if my temperates, lightning, and nutes are you decent, what's your best educated guess to what my yield will be if I flower using a 600w or 1000w HPS lights? 2oz per plant should I be getting more taking the 2.5 veg height and 600w or 1000w HPS into consideration? Is it wishful thinking to expect 3-4 oz per plant.

I should mention that I will be topping once and growing Nirvana's White Rhino female.

plant count is not relevant when discussing indoor yields. also you should take twice as many cuttings as you need to insure the success of your garden. in perfect conditions with a strong strain, 1lb per 600, 2 per 1K.

if you veg 8 2.5 feet tall plants they will not fit in a 4x4 tent that well. when you flower they will be way to tall unless you do some serious training.

How is plant count completely irrelevant? Are you saying if I only flower 1 or 2 2.5inch plants in a 4x4 room, they would yield 6oz each (or 1lb for 1 plant)? Then why would anyone ever grow more than 1 plant if that was the case. I thought plant count only stopped mattering up to a certain point depending on the size of the room, lighting coverage, and pot size.

Even if topped and then placed in a room that's 6ft 8inches? I'm growing Nirvana's White Rhino which is listed as "Plant height: Short- Mostly Indica." Have you grown then specific strain and are speaking from experience, or are you generalizing? Just curious.

that height gets a lot lower when you add lights, ducting etc. Not to mention the bucket under it. A 30" plant will be closer to 48" when it enters. Unless you were gonna do it at 30" including pots??

White Rhino is a great yielder- but each breeder makes different claims to it's yields...

RULE OF THUMB: Even if you have PERFECT conditions ... figure at the LOW end of whatever the breeder says you can get- (usually from 300grams to 600 grams per meter squ.)

And it is NOT "Per-Plant" it is pre Meter squared -- because it is dependant on the amount of LIGHT you use per meter squared with however many plants FIT there--- some flower more plants but smaller, some veg forever and only one will fill that space... THAT is why it isn't figured "per plant"...! If you use 4 plants in a square meter under a 400w Hps it will not yield the same as the same # of plants under a 1000w in the same space! ;)

8 plants in 16 foot square area thats 2.5 feet tall that will stretch during flowering. just going to be a pain in the ass to work in a area that crowded. also you may not have enough light for that maybe 2 lights would do it.
