Making a living as a caregiver

I've recently gotten into growing medical cannabis. I have a buddy that makes a pretty good amount of money having his caregiver card, w/ the max amount of patients he can have. So far I'm loving growing. It really is as addictive as I've heard people say it is. I'm wondering if anyone has been actually living off of the money you make from growing or if it's much harder than that.

I have had thoghts of becomeing a caregiver, but after i do the math, with Costs and profits, i allways relize it anit worth the risk. (i would give my paitents and really good deal.) if you charged Face vaule for the meds you could make a living of it for sure. if you produce 15 oz every two weeks and sold it for $100 oz to your pateints you could live a decent life

Learn how to produce medicinal quality weed, then worry about making a living. There is already to many people growing bullshit production weed!

You need a decent sized set up to grow for a living and out of that 15 oz a few go to electricity, one for nutes, soil, one goes to equipment and bulbs. I have rent also so it starts to add up fast. On top of that if you are doing it for a living you have income taxes that you have to pay or you could end up in deep shit. Out of 3 lbs per month one goes to expenses and taxes. If I was at $100 per oz 2 lbs would go to expenses.

Your law was modeled exactly after our Rhode Island laws with plant limits, patient limits etc so you can make a living. Just remember that it is work. Hard work. You become a farmer and a slave to the garden.

It would be better to look at it as a self financing hobby. When you try and grow commercially, you are setting yourself up for problems.

Or a slave to the government yet again, little wonder so many are still breaking the rules.

I am not confused at all. Simply offered a suggestion to look at caregiving as a self financed hobby rather than an income producing occupation. The response was right on target as the question was about making money as a caregiver. What is the confusion about that?

And no, not all doctors are thoracic surgeons.

really? I expect that from the establishment types like Dr Bob.. But ok. there are flippers. know what they are? there are people like me that sell their services and genetics. I have caregivers that just trim.. you are only limited by your imagination and know how.
