Yes but not that I was alive for it but long before message boards there was a thing called business ethics and that is lost in todays world...

i work weekends at a hydroshop that is very ommp friendly, in the sense that if you have your ommp card we will freely talk cannabis cultivation with you. however, since i use Inda-Gro lights, i have been told to not show my pictures to customers. the owner of the shop told me, in no uncertain terms, that they don't want to lose the money from selling all those HID bulbs every month, and so he would never be stocking Inda-Gro's at the shop.

inda-gro is the way-to-go, word is born. I run 3 420's, 2 in a flower room and one for veg. I'd say i'm having a grand time with the ladies while i'm young, 22 and living in Cali helping others and spreading the word in a positive way. Try it some time

I have been doing a little research on this lately and am beginning to think that induction lights are the way to go rather than LED lights. The induction lights seem to be a bit more mainstream than LED as many are manufactured by name brand companies that supply to the industrial sector. I mean who are all these companies that make LED lamps...they certainly aren't a General Electric or Sylvania.
The induction lamps seem to solve the same problems as LED's, namely power consumption and heat generation but seem to be less expensive because they can be obtained from electrical suppliers brather than small speciality retailers.
There is a lot of technical info available about cost and claims on various sites that have lighting engineers commenting. The general consencus is that they are better and more cost effective than LED's but do not have the sex appeal of LED's. One question I am unsure of is what would be the best colour temperature?

Got a hard on every time I buy a new panel don't you lol, course when don't I.... If by sex appeal you mean new, there are always gonna be a few sales of a product because it is new, does not mean it sticks around. Pretty sure phillips makes leds so there is atleast one big producer, have not done much research in this dept. though but I am sure one of the DIY led guys could set you straight...

why spend all that money for the pontoons, i'm just going to add a couple red flouro's and time them to go on and off after my indra grow light, should be the same thing.

by the way, i have been growing my own weed for 30 years, i am marveled at the advances we the pot community have made and am down right disapointed with all the infighting between so called experts with nothing more then words to back up their claims.

i have grown well over 15 pounds a year going back to the 70's. i have no need to brag.
i got 30 kahuna and 12 ak-47 in full bloom in the room next door..., i'll pull 3 pounds from that for sure...

i had this down to a science before you even pooped your pants the first time.
i started growing on what we called an island, a small 100 foot square foot plot of land right in the middle of a swamp in aurora ohio, had huge 6 foot bushes all around, only 1 way in and 1 way out and it was hidden. best fertile soil i have ever seen, you can push your hand in down 1 or 2 feet and pull up rich black organic compost.
they bull dozed it in the 90's and build a lowes there..( damn you )
and, all my grows are ileagle and i sell it.
