What's a positive lucky experience you had?

One of mine was when I was sledding at 8 years old. I was cold and leaving early. As I was just about leaving the snow and about to step on the pavement a red truck pulled up. An older man opened the door and said to 'come over here son I gotta ask you something'. Luckily for me the older kids were paying attention and started yelling and running towards me not to get into the truck. When the old man saw this he slammed his passenger door shut and squeeled his tires getting out off our street in a hurry.

this one time I was gonna tell this kid something and all these other kids were yelling at this kid to run away from me.. it freaked me out and I left in a hurry.. thought those kids were gonna kill me... :)

I don't know if this is luck or karma or whatever...

So 2 years ago I'm working in our retail shop. A German guy comes in that I remembered seeing from years past. His pump was leaking from somewhere but he couldn't tell where. He lived kind of far away so I told him, "these are all the parts that it could be and whatever you don't use just bring back next time you're in the area and I'll gladly return them for you". So he comes back a week later and said that my advice had worked perfect and that he was just going to keep the extras so he has some spares. He thanked me and asked if he could help me with anything. I joked that the wife and I were planning a trip to China and if he had a plane that would work. He laughed and said, no but that his wife was a stewardess and that she would hook me up. :shock:

Long story not as long, she got us 2 roundtrip Delta buddy passes for $1100 taxes and everything. 1 regular ticket by itself is about $1500.

Got shot at twice in my younger days ...only got grazed tho.
Considering the fact it was two shooters the first time and 30+ shell casings on the ground I'd say I'm pretty lucky to still be here
