I’m pretty dang small time. I sow seeds and veg under a 4’ 4-bulb HO T5, I have a small 2’x2’x5’ tent where I run an HPS to flower in, so nothing huge or amazing.
I got ahold of a few auto seeds from a local breeder named Golden Nuggets. They are his Baby Cough strain and only get 12” max and are expected to harvest 60 days after sowing. I wanted to run these in a small cabinet as this was what I expected most folks would appreciate these seeds for when growing indoors. It’s a 15” x 15” x 30” cabinet that I painted flat white on the inside. I have an intake in the lower left hand corner with an exhaust vent in the upper right hand corner. I made a small hood with 6 5000k Home Depot CFLs. This won’t be a huge operation but one I expect to take advantage of the plants indoor intent.
Now to add a FANTASTIC surprise I got ahold of a few packs of East Coast Farmer Pink Diesel seeds. I figured these would be a PERFECT compliment to the Baby Cough seeds and it would be fun to run them side by side and maybe even breed the two and see what happends.
So here are a few pics of the start of my grow…
I started three of the Pink Diesel seeds on the 23[SUP]rd[/SUP]. They have already cracked and are in Fox Farms Ocean Forest cut with Perlite. I know some folks say it’s hot but I have never had any issues. Plus it’s a VERY common media that a lot of folks use so again to see what would happen with these plants in a small space and simple operation. The soil is layered mid way with Happy Frog Bulb Food. Again SIMPLE. Nutes will be Fox Farms Big Bloom, GO CA/MG+, and Alaskan Fish emulsion. That’s it.
