So strains evolve..just wonder what the most dominant evolutionary trends are...my guess is potency and flavor.

trickster & jim...My observation is that there is a collective interest here, on RIU, revolving around the "medicating properties" of the plant. I can not think of another plant so valued for just its trichome production. This amazing plant has much more to offer (not just rope, dope & fabric) by way of industrial (commercial) and environmental application...I believe technology and cannabis chemistry are stepping stones not stumbling blocks for mankind...Governments that impose "moral" legislation on those they "govern" impede social and intellectual evolution...IMHO...FWIWI think the big thing medically will be isolating specific cannabanoids and breeding out everything else not desired. I have already heard of strains with the THC being almost non existant but CBD being very high. just my 2 cents
