MY grow light was on last night in my attic at 1am and went over the police helicopter and stopped with light on for bout 10 mins , i then turned them off , they the flew down to the front of the house ... seen me on the door step and flew off ... what shall i do i have 15 plants and there 22 days into flowering ...i used 2 600 watt lights in the attic ....

Stop smoking the sativa, it's affecting your paranoia... and yes, would let it continue at this time if it were me. If they saw heat signature -inside- the house with FLIR, it wouldn't be valid in a court of law anyway. If you're piping hot air out of your chimney, but there's no smoke whatsoever like the furnace/heat system is on - they could use that heat signature as the start of something.. but would still take plenty more evidence for them to play doorbusters with you. That said, re: a knock and talk.. if they knock and want to talk, make sure you talk to them outside. Do not let them in the front door, and lock the door behind you before you sit down for the discussion. Divulge nothing, and after they leave.. make sure you retain an attorney.

It's no longer legal for the cops to use heat sensing camera on your house unless they have a search warrant. I didn't get the part about the chopper shining a light on your house or something. I don't think they would do that if they were checking for heat. It was probably just looking for some hooligan running from some cops 10 blocks away. If you haven't told anybody else about your grow I probably wouldn't worry about it.
In case you're serious.......my suggestion would be to run your lights in the daytime, when heat seeking devices don't work. Check your perimeter again for light leaks. Do not have any traffic coming to the house, don't talk about pot on the phone, and don't sell anything to anyone. If you remain paranoid, stop growing for a while- maybe move the plants outside somewhere off property.
No longer legal doesn't stop them. Ask Rodney King. I agree with the hooligan part tho, your local PD may have a website up listing 'active calls' next time check that and have a look at what's going on around you.

you can get a scanner and listen for your numbers to come across. no judge in the world is going to issue a warrant on a light coming out of the attic anyway..chill. you are fine. Unless you have otherwise pisssed them off or given them a reason...

Multiple websites allow listening of scanners from all over the US too, without buying a physical scanner. Is how we were getting intel on the Dorner incident before the media released it, as an aside.
