If you cant use MG just means you arent that good of a grower imo........Its the most popular potting soil in the world........Serioulsy.....not meant for plants that go into our bodies....Get a fucking clue dude. MG soil is way safer than the soil in corn fields...I spray pesticides and herbicides for a living. And the crap we put on crops is about the most sickening thing to me....If only people saw what went on all their food. Whats in MG cant compare to the bad things out in soil elsewhere...Fuck off with that MG is bad. Ive seen too many successful grows with it. If you you cant grow with it, doesnt mean the soil is bad, just the grower...

I think if you understand NPK ratios, how to dilute, adjust, compensate for other nutrients your bottle doesn't contain. (i.e. magnesium, sulphur, calcium) , you can apply those lessons to whatever method or medium you use. Doesn't matter what the label says, as much as understanding how to deliver what the plant needs.

BTW.. I will be updating my weekly photos of two Boss Hoggs on Sunday 03/30/2013. I will place the MG nutes bottle in the photo with the plants. They will be on day 29 of bloom then. I just switched to MG on this grow. Grew with Canna nutes last two grows until I ran out. Bought MG nutes for about 1/10th of the cost. (did the math and got the NPK ratio to match within 1 point) The Boss Hoggs have been on MG the whole grow. They are cranking buds like I have never seen! (could just be a lucky couple phenos or a good strain) Anyhow... no appreciable differnce since I switched.
Of course the Canna bottle looks prettier and specifically uses marijuana references for marketing, but my plants can't read and my ego doesn't care
