Is this clone ready to be potted?



As you can see there are visible roots on one side a little rooting on the both sides next to this side and none on the opposite side.

This has been the case for the better part of a week now.

It is the only one of my clones that has rooted so far (many have perished) so I'm inclined to go ahead and pot it.

Yep, went ahead and potted it earlier today.

So many clones perished in this my first attempt that I lost track of who was who.

It will be a nice little mystery till she grows and I figure out who she looks like.

Will it be an OG Kush, a Silver Haze or an Expert Haze?

We shall see in due course

The outdoor season would be great if I didnt have a neighbor who thinks he's an undercover Cop.

Well the bad news as you will know by now is IDW is a male (got him caged at a friends place will put a future short Indica female in the cage with him in a month or so and get some hybrid seeds).

The good news is it's week 3 of flowering and I got buds.






The Silver Haze has recovered well to having her head chopped off.






The OG Kush's are coming back strong looks like I might get some fat buds from them.

Replaced the HPS with the 8 tube T5 for the weekend and that's when I really noticed the buds.

The plants looked totally different under the T5 light, so bright from the canopy to the roots.

Gonna do this every weekend now, it breaks up the week nicely and I look forward to seeing that ladies properly under that bright T5 light.

There is a big contrast between the HPS and the T5. The different lights even promote a different smell from the plants.

I will use an analogy, under the HPS it's as if the plants are being gently roasted.

Under the T5 it's as if the plants are being poached.

They are both being cooked, but via different methods.

So I’m using both methods, primarily HPS but touching with the T5 a couple days per week.[/FONT]

Saturday and Sunday I have them under the T5 I can see there development more clearly under the T5 so it gives me something to look forward to and breaks up the grow a bit so it's less monotonous.

I cant help but feel that the ladies may very well like the different stimulation/environment also.[/FONT]

Alright dude, your grow but without that penatration and power i think its going to hurt the yield. Look what the hps did while it was in there right? Your grow and you can do what ya want but seriously, floros are dont cut it compared to hps in flower impo. Ive seen some bad results with weak growth down low and just in general. You do what you want man but id hate to see ya doin all that work switchin em just to see ya loose weight.

[FONT=&amp]I hear you Ninja, you know your stuff, no doubt.

But I'm an experimental type a guy by nature and part of this grow was/is to see the results of Dual light in flowering.

So it's not that I want to lose weight, but in order to get the data, the experiment must be performed.

So I'm gonna stick to the dual light experiment 5 days HPS and 2 days T5.

My next grow will be T5 for vegging as this one was and HPS throughout flowering.

And yet another grow at some point in the future will be totally Floros.

In the not too distant future I'm gonna be running two tents.

The time for experimentation is now.

Then when I've tried all the permutations, I'll go with what gave me the results I'm the most satisfied with

Oh, regarding occurrences in the tent, a cheap temp gauge I bought stopped working within a month of purchase (got my money back).

I thought my fan had broke after I knocked it over whilst I was working in the tent.

So I’ve got a couple purchases to make a replacement back up temp gauge (I already have a main one) and a back up fan (you don’t want your only fan to be out of order).

Oh and my jewelers loupe has just arrived, which shows when your at peak THC production via trichome analysis just prior to chopping them down.

I got one of those, i dont like it so much. I wish i never would have wasted the money darn it im going to buy a mini microscope soon. Theyre so nice when you can focus in and out. One of these days lol
