Best Anxiety Pot Recommendations

i think we all need what helps, that can be religion, hobby, friends, or sometimes weed can help
you see a lot of differing experiences, some strains help some and send others running for benzo's
Haze's for example have a pretty sketchy rep for those with anxiety/depression
and i could see why, adding in a lot of energy to a anxious/manic state may not be helpful

Yes people need to do what fits them best. I did find out that MJ can cause anxiety in certain people especially if consumed every day for a long period of time, but then it all depends on what strain they were smoking. MJ is the most valuable crop known to man and it helps us more than most even consider.

SAD from Sweet Seeds is calming with a euphoric kick to it as well. My new fav. It is a femmed Black Domina pheno. Indica with a bit of sativa in it. I feel better AFTER I come down. That is key for me.

GDP, Maple Leaf Indica, are 2 indicas which have good anxiety relief for me.

Exercise is usually a good addition to anything else for mental problems.

My dad re married to a women and now she stays in bed all the time with migraines. He asked me one time if he could buy some MJ off me to see if it would help her because they have tried everything but he never really did it. He has always been a drinker so I didn't expect for him to follow through. I think she need exercise!

Do any of the seeds you mentioned make you tired after a few rips?...I know I can get pretty tired after smoking too much of anything though.

And yes, one of the biggest helps to my anxiety is to keep busy, I have to kick myself in the ass sometimes if I'm already starting to zone out to the "other side" but if I don't get off my ass and outside where there is fresh air and other distractions I'll just sit and stare for an hr...without even taking a hit sometime haha. So I throw on the head phones with some classic rock, grab the to-do-list, and take a rip of some LostCoastOG(if i'm already tired from work then got depressed) pretty heady and gives me much needed boost and helps my think positively. My friend has some BlueDream that seems to work really well of I'm already full of energy and I feel like there's 10 things I need to do right this very second, helps me slow my thoughts and take the day one step at a time.
Now that it's warming up i'll be going for more bike rides to occupy my mind.

Just a little look into how I operate.

This is the most sound advice offered on this thread so far, in my opinion.

I suffer from severe Anxiety, as I've previously mentioned, and I do use Indicas as well as Xanax (Currently weening off) to combat it.

Nothing, and i mean NOTHING, compares to the relief that 2 solid hours of intense exercise will provide. It is absolutely the best high I've ever gotten. With that being said, not everybody's schedule is flexible enough to include this as a daily routine, I know mine isn't, and that is when the strong indicas come in handy.

I would definitely recommend staying away from Benzos unless you are truly debilitated by your anxiety. And if you do start taking them, first of all, make sure it is under doctor's recommendation and prescribed. Second of all, be prepared to be the slave of an extremely addictive drug for at least the next 5 years of your life, possibly the rest of your life.

exercise is good, but start slowly, when i first started doing vigorous exercise it freaked me out because how fast your heart pounds, i also cannot look at the heart rate monitor on the machines because it causes me to have an anxiety attack.

For me these strains do not make me feel tired unless I already was. Then yeah, I will want a nap after a hour or so.

I smoked the SAD yesterday and wanted to play guitar. After an hour I felt tired, but this was after getting off work at the end of the week.

They are more neutral than tiring for me. Some sativas can be calming and still give you some energy, you just have to sort thru them.
