Wasn't the Star Wars project more a space based missile system?
From what I remember, it had more than one prong. Beam weapons (based on the ground, in space or on suited aircraft) was one. The other was "smart rocks" evolving into "brilliant pebbles", homing impingers.

With a large enough laser, shitloads of capacitors and large enough solar panels (they're the preferable choice as an extra-atmospheric power source, fuck all clouds up there) they could probably make it work.

If only DARPA were more open to the public....
I would not want to rely on solar for an energy-hungry military asset in orbit. I'd be sure to design in a nuclear power source, either a mini-reactor or a large radiothermal generator. cn

That's a really bad idea on the part of the future 3rd dictator to die in the last few years.
Agreed.

"We will first target and dissolve mainland United States, Hawaii and Guam, and United States military based in South Korea. And the (South Korean presidential office) will be burned to the ground," the KCNA report said.

I hope that paper he's signing in that picture is his will

It should be his will if he gets any idea to provoke us. We will strike first, we've done it before and it won't be the last time.

It'll be interesting to see what the first move of this 'war' is, I assume he will attack South Korea first and foremost

A snippet form an article two days old I saw in the side bar. This is of course before the mobile revealing of Unha III

Currently, Pyongyang is not believed to have a missile-mounted nuclear warhead, but it may in years to come. Experts believe the North has rockets able tohit Japan or South Korea with air, land or sea-delivered nuclear devices or dirty bombs. If Kim detonated a nuclear device, it would guarantee apocalyptic retaliation and war crimes trials for any regime survivors -- but if all looked lost, that possibility stands.
"We've never been in a situation where a nuclear-armed country has had to make that kind of call," mused Hardy. "If the leadership is going down like the Third Reich, this kind of last gasp action is possible," added Pinkston.
Were the regime in Pyongyang overthrown by war, the positives would be extensive. South Korea would gain a land connection to the Eurasian continent; a strategic casus belli would evaporate; northern Korea could be rebuilt and its people ushered into the global community; and Northeast Asia could advance toward regional integration.
But given the destructiveness of modern weaponry and the dense populations of both Koreas, experts pray "Korean War II" never happens.
"The casualties in a short time would be unlike anything we have seen before: hundreds of thousands in days, millions in weeks," said Pinkston. "The fighting in Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria would pale in comparison."

According to what I see, the nuke facility is in Pyongyang directly, and just around it. Pyongyang nuke coords: N39"00' E125"45'

The way i see it... is that the U.S is just standing up to its Enemie the NK threatens to use NUKES on U.S and S.K. So we are just SHOWING them what we are capable of, flying B2 and B52's just saying hey we can play that game to... i agree Innocent people should not die in war... but you know innocent people die everyday just by random ass gunmen, rapist, accidents, sickness ect.. YES! the united states may be a mass murder by dropping a bomb we really didn't know the damage to in japan killing 1000xxx innocent lives but we also hit the heart of there production.. so we were at war and hit TARGETS to slow there process. anyways im high an rambling on..

The world is already on a clock to destruct under gods terms.. And Rumors of wars, and Kingdom will rise again kingdoms and nations against nations... hmmm seems like we are on track.... I would be more concerns about the middle east Israel, Iran.. that's were ww3 will start..

The US came so late to the war, Russia had done all the hard work.

They also already entered Berlin before yous had even arrived.

Russia should get all the credit for having relatively 0 ships capable of defending England in terms of the channel? Cool story, I like it. :D

I think the turning point was the US involvement, not Russia ,German troops took Moscow around that time, the German army was the most powerful in the world at the time and needed to be stopped by a coalition led by the US.
