Yea man way more natural and easier to understand depending on how much you already know about hydro.
This is only my opinion but i recommend it.
Just go to google maps and put in hydro shop or store and your zip code and theyll pop up.
Thats how I found mine back in the day.

There is a lot that gets taken for granted and as a beginner you need that basic format that a book can explain effectively. Homework is a big part.

I use Coco, the way you use it is not the same and honestly I dont want to give you bad intel. The feed varies in transfer ability brand to brand.

Trying Hydro on your first grow.
Go to soil bro.

To be honest man, its way better in my perspective overall.
More natural tasting, easier overall understanding to begin your first plants, and easier to maintain.
All the hydro hype is just from the music. Shame. Soil is top notch bro, no matter what.

If you want to switch to soil i would go with fox farm light warrior. It contain no nutes itdoues have earth worm castings and benifical fungus microhazal any hydro store will carry it. It is safe for seedlings and once you have your seedlings in veg you can transfer to ocean forest. It is easier than hydro due to the fact that the soil will act as a buffer but if you over fert it will burn. When you switch to ocean forest use half the strength nutes. depending on what nutes you have if they say feeding for soil or not but you can go with grow big or another good nute for veg and big bloom and tiger bloom for flower also a cal mag supplement. Just make sure you are not using tap water it contains disolved solids that can add to salt build up used either distilled or rodi water they contain nothing but what you put in. Make sure your nutes are ph'd to 6.5ish and you should have no problem. But as with anything dont over do it with the water make sure your pots are semi dry DONT wait til they are wilting but atleast an inch and a half down give nutes asneeded the plant will speak to you all you have to do is listen to her.
