Damn that sucks!!! there isnt a wal-mart within 15 miles and i have no car but I WOULD deffinetly buy that if its $10 i spent $31.50 for the t8 fixture + the bulbs damn i really wish i live by wal-mart

Man, I remember back in the day when all I had was a bus pass, lol.
There was a new store opening around 15 miles from me and they had some opening special offers.
Dude, I whipped out my bus pass, got there and bought a TV, lol and got it home by bus.

I'm going to look on the map where i can go becuase i have no other choice, I'm fucked right now. I went back to home depot today and they do sell the 3' 2 bulb t5 fluorecent light fixture but comes with the soft white bulbs and not the daylight they dont sell the t5 daylight bulbs seperatly either so idk what to do right now .____. I guess your right i'm gonna have to take a bus somewhere and get it i just moved in this area soo im new around here.

I'm actually using 3 24watt cfls with the t8 on the side but i wanna upgrade a little bit better because my last plant only yeilded about a half ounce if that. when it was fully dried. Now I'm not an expert but my guess would be my vegg wasnt as good the branches were really close together (correct me if im wrong) and as for my flower i was using a 600 watt hps.

Did you have a temp gauge in your closet?
What were your temps?
Did you use a fan?
What were the humidity levels?
How long did you veg?
What was your plant height?
How long did you flower?

We know people who use JUST T5's.. and the plants are killer-gorgeous!
They Carry them at Lowes & Home Depot (4 footers) they also sell them at all on-line grow shops (2 foot or 4 foot 4 or 6 bulbs ) They are a WAY higher output than CFL's-- and CFL's can grow decent weed.... Especially if you switch over to HPS in 12/12! ;0

Indeed I did only flower tho i had an ac unit and a 6" fan the temp got to 80-85 degrees the humidity was like 32%-35%. I vegged for a month and a half and flowered for almost 2 months. My plant was 1 foot 5 somewhere around there maybe 1foot 3

If you vegged for 6 weeks then flowered with a 600w hps and only pulled 8g dry, there is definitely a problem. 12/12 straight from seed would do better than that with a 600w and you say you vegged 6 weeks? If it is a digital ballast you should get a cheap MH bulb for veg. You can pick one up for around $20.

Gotcha, I think if you get your temps down 10% and get your Humidity up by at least 10% I think you can expect a better crop.

Potential problem with that is that the increased cost of electric with that procedure, which might be an issue.With my own grow I use a T5 unit for vegging then switch to HPS for 12/12.I find vegging with my 4 foot 8 tube T5 very effective and cheaper than if I were to try and veg with the HPS.

See thats the problem It's hard trying to control the temp in my small ass closet the HPS is what gets it soo hot in there so maybe i might need more fans also I got this clone from a friend and he said i should left it grow longer for veg and flower he also said the temp was TOO HIGH. But if i were to grow it outside it would be around 80 degrees and up depending how this summer turns out. ALSO I read about "super cropping" and was thinking i might try to do it well actually the question is should i do it??

Yea, i was talking to this guy at the hydro store and he asks me "What lights do you use to veg?" i told him Daylight cfls he told me u wont get alot using those well he is wrong and it saved me more money by using the cfls. I seen a 4 tube t5 54 watt it total if im correct for like 100 dollars i might save up and get it for my next grow or if im not to late ill use it this grow if i get the money. but tell me if u ever super cropped ur plants b4 and tell me did you get good results? Did it fail? Would you recommend it? Did you yeild more or got the same as if u didnt super crop it? Thanks for your help i really appriciate it.

Yea 8 or 9 grams was what i got and no its not digital this ballast i have is weird the bulb actually plugs in the ballast it dont have that sheild thing or w/e you call it but what do you think is the problem should i try super cropping??

Well one problem is your poor lighting.
Never tried Super Cropping, but it has been recommended to me and I can see how it would work.
I had a branch that had semi broke and I thought might fall off.
To my surprise a few days later I couldn't tell which branch it was, it had healed itself so well.
So I can see how Super Cropping could work.
